I bought the KardiaMobile 6L Max mainly to track my heart health at home (I have CHF), and let me tell you—this little device is impressive. Purchased this at the recommendation of my cardiologist. It was either do a LOOP recorder implant, which is where they make an incision in the chest and put a recorder in that monitors your heart rate, or get a Kardia which would not be invasive and would work much easier for my needs. My favorite part is that I get to see the results immediately with the Kardia. I love that I can do an EKG anywhere I want, at any time I want, and find out if there's anything wrong at that moment. This Kardia also allows doing a 6-lead study by using the panel on the back. Not all of them allow this so make sure to purchase the unit that would be beneficial to you. Read instructions on each one. ****Of course, it doesn't measure if you're having a heart attack and if something doesn't feel right for you, go get checked out.**** I was having a lot of problems where my heart rate would go up and down and felt like it was pounding and feeling weird so this helps me to feel secure when I see the results that everything is okay. You have to download the app that goes with it which is easy to use. It gives you the option to send your results to your doctor or someone else if you wish. There are areas where you can add your blood pressure and weight on the app as well as information about what you were doing or how you were feeling at the moment that you took the EKG.. I believe you can set it to remind when you should take an EKG as I do remember getting notifications about doing some. There is also an option to see the history of your EKGs which was great for me when I saw the cardiologist so I could show him all the ones I had taken recently. He could see the actual EKG in addition to the system results. In general, this is an amazing device for information and I feel it is worth the money as it helps me feel less worried. -- Read all the information about this device on the website before purchasing to make sure it is something that will work for you and your needs. Do extra research online if needed. CASE & WARRANTY- I would definitely recommend buying a case and warranty. If you're going to pay for a Kardia to monitor your health, you need to pay to protect it. Both case and warranty are sold separately, also on Amazon. I love my case and the Kardia fits inside, perfectly secure. Thankfully, I bought that warranty because I did have to use it. Kardia's customer service was wonderful and quick and the new unit was sent out immediately. I had a defective unit but it was fixed quickly and my new unit is fine. Would definitely recommend!

Works great and the cell phone App software is excellent using a Bluetooth connection which works fine. You get a full very detailed EKG graphic display of the result with an instant analysis of your heart health. It's in PDF format so you can store the result easily and share it with an MD. Just place it on your left knee, put fingers of both hands on the gizmo, confirm that green lights appear on the cell phone app and get the result in 30 seconds. The only problem is that the analysis only lasts 30 seconds, so it won't catch an intermittent heart problem. There is no option to test more than 30 seconds but it is gratifying to at least get an instant visual display and analysis saying your heart is fine. One strange thing is that it is battery powered but there doesn't appear that you can change the battery or recharge it in any way. The instructions don't mention a battery! There are two small screws on the bottom that may allow a battery change but that's a guess. The bottom serves as the sensor that rests on your knee. The bottom line though is that a 30 second analysis is not going to show much unless you have a continuous problem but this works amazingly well and for the price and convenience it's a trivial amount of money to find out if you have a heart problem. Also I don't see any reason that you can't use this on all your friends and family. It's painless and works very well.

I returned the item and ended up paying $74 extra for the return shipping even after the $15 credit. That is half the value of the item. The item was defective on purchase and not working or turning on. No feedback from the company or amazon. The product is made in Malaysia and complete disappointment. I will never order from this company again and wont use amazon to ship overseas in the future.

Having had heart issues for a very long time, I was happy to see a reasonably priced way of getting an EKG whenever I felt the need. The monitor is easy to use, compact and easy to keep with you on the go. I was skeptical about the subscription plan, but it allows you to store your readings and to set up a list of people to share your readings with. I unexpectedly found an added bonus when I lost the unit. The subscription includes a replacement plan. After a quick phone call and filling out one form, I had a replacement for $19.99.

I'm sure this is a great product, but be careful: this seller JetSouq sends defective items in opened and resealed boxes and charges 70% of the purchase price which you return the product.

I have now had 2 of these devices as because the first stopped recording i was sent a second, which worked at first, then it also stopped. Despite several emails with the manufacturer I could not get either to work again. The manufacturer doesn't appear able to solve the problem. Then yesterday I took one out just to try again. Guess what? I got 2 readings out of it. That was it. Shows green light so Bluetooth ok, but will not record again. Interestingly an error message came up on phone (Samsung A31) which I've not had before - "low energy device". I presume that means the Kardia is a low energy device? So now, despite needing to measure my AF I have no workable equipment.
