This mealworm breeding tower is a simple and sustainable product for raising your own mealworms. If you are tired of paying for mealworms on a regular basis or you find you are running out of mealworms too fast, then this mealworm breeding tower is your way to savings. The simple design of this breeding system can be set-up and ready to go in less than two minutes, as follows: - Place the solid insert in the bottom of one of the three trays, this will be your egg tray; - Place the black supports on the lip of the egg tray; - Place a second tray on top of the supports; - Place the mesh insert in the bottom of the top tray, this will be your beetle tray; - Add 1” to 1 1/2” of oatmeal in the beetle tray; - If starting with mealworms, place them in the egg tray, when they become pupa move them to the beetle tray; - If starting with beetles, place them in the beetle tray - Set your third tray aside. It will be your egg tray when you are ready to swap out the existing egg tray.
