Honey Uncapping Plastic Bin and Stainless Tray - Deluxe Beekeeping for Use with Frame Extractor for Beekeepers

Beekeeping is an expensive hobby, but once you buy the right equipment - it is so rewarding and the payoff is amazing. You help the neighborhood by bringing bees to local crops AND you get the reward of pure raw honey that you KNOW has not been compromised with additives and heat - taking away the God given medicinal properties of pure RAW unheated and untreated honey! After going through three different capping stations and hating them all - FINALLY someone has come up with a great piece of equipment! I was pointed to this station by a fellow beekeeper who had something similar he brought all the way back from Poland. i was very jealous of his uncapping station and after receiving this shipment today and unboxing it - I can safely say - this one is even better than his, and he will indeed be the jealous one. Heavy plastic bin with a honey gate spout and a very nice weight stainless steel drip tray and cover that doubles as a holding tray for honey frames. They thought of everything, and I'm so glad! I haven't used this yet and I would give it 5 stars,BUT, I can't figure out for the life of me why the tray was not designed to fit over the tray!? It is wide enough but it's about 2 1/2 inches short lengthwise to fit over the tray. I can tell by the design that this product is going to make uncapping a lot easier and less messy. everything fits inside nicely for storage and the tray flipped over would make a great lid but it is just a tad bit too short. ???

The uncapping bin works out fine I just would like to have it so a lid would fit over it. That way when done uncapping it could sit over night and drain without worry.

Waited till I used it to write a review. This works great. Quality materials and well made. Holds the frame very well for uncapping. My friend really liked having the option to not need to hold the frame. The honey drained well through the pan. The lid serves for frame staging or simply a place to put extracted frames. We do kind of an assembly line for decapping, extracting and storing the extracted frames. I covered the uncapping pan on the tank with plastic wrap and let it set in the sun to finish draining the honey out of the wax. Really nice to have the honey gate for draining into a bucket. My friend used to just use a bucket with a piece of wood and a nail. We are recommending this to our other beekeeper friends.

Better than I expected. work height was perfect, and easy to clean, and I store it in the box it came in.

Works great for holding hive frames while capping or or after extracting honey. Also works great for containing honey comb until they can be processed.

Great uncapping station....I love it...much easier to use then the Mann Lake one.

Not bad for its price
