I bought these to use as replacement carbon air fresheners in my litter robot 3 open air cat litter box. I had trouble finding carbon media that was thick enough. I used a utility knife to cut the filters to the size I needed, using the original litter robot one as my template. One package appears to be enough to make 4-5 filters, so 8-10 total with the two pack, which is much cheaper than buying them from the lr manufacturer. I hadn’t ever changed the original filter out, and I have the box in a small closet, and it was really getting stinky, but when I put the new filter in the smell went away, so I’m very happy with the filter so far.

I am using this filter to replace SoClean filter. Save $$$$$$$$$$$ works great. Use a small knife cut the filter and replace SoClean carbon Cartridge. Save Hundreds of $$$$$$$$$$.

Great product for all HOB and Canister filters. Cuts fairly easily with kitchen shears or scissors. It is pretty thick so it keeps it shape even after getting wet. It is very dense and will catch particulants as well as remove toxins. I found that you can rinse it out in aquarium water and use it some more. Just remember to always rinse it out in water from the aquarium so you don't kill any of the beneficial bacteria. As good as any of the more expensive brands. Buy with confidence.

i like it so far, its so tightly packed the water has a hard time going thru it. and its very hard to cut to fit my Sun-Sun Hw303B Canister Filter, i can get two filters per 18 by 10-Inch Media Pad, its hard to tell if its really working i keep my aquarium very clean, do water changes a min of once a week. i have a very good bio in my filters.

Easy to use and economical. In addition to my aquariums, I also use it to replace the discontinued carbon filter in my kitchen exhaust fan. Tight fit, but it works great!

Sometimes, you need to take out that little flimsy filter and put in a big, burly pad to give your water a good cleanup. This is the right big, burly pad for the job! Cut it to fit into your filter and let it go! Works like a champ, and it's rinseable so it can be reused!
