very smooth and competitively priced, when my ceramic one broke just before latke season, I was afraid I would not find another that performed as well, but this does the job just fine, thank you

Still not as good as my $2 peeler from the grocery store
However, this one has a superior grip to the grocery store peeler, and would be good for an older person, or a person with arthritis, I think.

This peeler (China) is nothing like the old version (USA) it supposedly copies. It may peel well, I don't know but the blades have burrs and nasty edges that I am sure will leave metal bits in the food being peeled or the peelings being discarded, hope I am lucky!

Not what they used to be.
I have a peeler from Farberware that is around two years old and peels like crazy. These don't. I don't know if they are just not sharp enough or if the edge of the blade is angled incorrectly.

Simple perfection
