I wanted something that wasn't obnoxious to hang Govee string lights on our deck and this was PERFECT!I've had them up for one full season and they look great. They install with a screw into the wood railing, then place your string light in the groove, and screw the cap on. Take note that they DON'T allow you to 'clamp' in what you're hanging (doesn't create tension), but I knew that in advance.They are so much more attractive than any other type of 'hook'. All you need to instal them in a screwdriver, no drilling is needed.I envision using these for a myriad of things because they are so versatile.

I have been using theses for a while now. Easy installation and holding up well. Like the look too.

Great way to hang a pendant lamp. There is no way too tighten the space for the cord so make sure cord is not too thin (or too fat). But there are small barbs in the opening to keep cord from pulling through from weight of the lamp. They look great. So much better than ugly old style hooks.

I decided to take several photos to help people better visualize the size of the item. Each piece is not quite as big as a Jolly Rancher hard candy. (Leftover from Halloween a couple weeks ago- at least now it was good for SOMETHING, hah.) Four stars because it's of decent quality, but it's not absolutely top-notch: the threads are a little too easy to cross-thread, and it isn't the smoothest glide. I wouldn't hang anything too heavy with it- stay within the specs in the product listing. It does look stylishly minimal and mod against the ceiling, and that's if you even notice it at all. Another reviewer suggested pre-drilling using a 7/32 drill bit. Personally, I'd recommend sizing that down to a 3/16 in order to allow the included plastic molly/wall anchor insert to have a little more grip- especially if you're putting this up in plaster. (Start with the 3/16, and then go up to the 7/32 if you really need to.) This particular size hanger has the .25 inch opening, which precisely fits the round cord of the IKEA paper lamp I have. (It's a pretty standard cord size at that store- maybe that info will help someone reading this.) All in all I feel that these are a good value, and a nifty way to hang up a light source- happy lamping!

These did the trick for use with a hanging lamp! The clean look of these made for a nice finishing touch. SO easy to use.

What an amazing product. So much better than ceiling hooks. Very easy to install and they hold the wire without looking clumsy. They are smaller than I thought, but I think that's even better. We added a trim board with a channel over the wire for a decorative look.

I’m glad I’ve found it. It works for my purpose. I wish they would be in many different colors.

You'll be surprised how small they are when they arrive. For some reason, they looked bigger in the pictures. The side edges with the thread are very, very fragile and easily break if you bend them. The screws that come with the hooks are as cheap and low quality as it gets. If you apply any pressure, the nail head falls apart, and I replace them with my own. I expected a better quality overall.
