Good overview of systems thinking and mental models with many practical and clear examples. The message is very clear: focus on the whole picture to understand the particular behavior.Observe and identify the boundaries and the interconnections between systems before taking decisions and judgment. Whether we are thinking about strategic initiatives or communication in relationships, it is helpful to have frameworks to help us think clearly. Mental models are doing just that. It was a good read overall.

Author not only defines mental models, but gives plenty of realistic practical examples. The examples allowed me to imagine there use in my industry and immediately apply to current systems my team is working on.

Writing was weak and unsupported. A lot of common sense without much substance.Perhaps a good read for high-school/early college age people without much real world experience.
