Updated: Terrible value. Do not buy. Read below.
UPDATE:Well, one week later and I needed to take my tires off to change a tube, so I do that. Meet issue number one, which is that the skewers are loose. Okay, that shouldn't happen at all let alone after one week. I mean, I tightened these things to the point of worrying I was going to break the axle. This should not happen and it's dangerous for people riding if it does because if your tire leaves the ground at all, you're going to have a bad time. And being that there are other reviewers here saying the same thing about the same issue, I'm taking away 2 stars for this problem. It's not an automatic fail though as such products like thread-lock exists.Okay, now onto issue two. I then go to reinstall the tire and lo and behold, the head on the skewer immediately strips. I barely got things together, it wasn't like I was over-tightening again. And thinking about it, the heads on these are definitely not steel. I have steel headed skewers, these are much lighter and much more dull in color. Aluminum, maybe? An alloy, probably. Garbage, definitely. These are now completely unusable and a waste of time and money. THAT is an automatic fail and I'm only giving these a one star because I can't go lower.DO NOT purchase these. They are not worth the hassle and the quality outside of the axle itself is clearly not there. It's probably also the reason why they don't stay on tight. The alloy they're using for the heads is just cheap corner cutting material the results in easily stripped threads and skewers that loosen over time.OLD REVIEW:These aren't a perfect solution device, but they're the best you can get for the price. I might suggest looking at Pinhead if you want the best of the best, but you'll pay literally three times as much. For where I live these are more than good enough. They feel well made. The 'key' is easy to use. Even the rounded heads on either side of the skewer feel oddly slippery, which I think is a plus. And it's made with chromoly steel. There's really nothing to complain about here other than that every key is exactly the same and you can definitely, with enough patience and the right tools, figure out how to get them off by either using vice grips or by manipulating the flat surfaces where the key goes with tools.Like I said, if you want the best where none of that is possible and every key is slightly different, then pinhead is what you want. I also own those but on a different and more expensive bike. Their key solution grooves in the opposite direction of rotation so there's no possible way to use tool manipulation. And vice grips don't work either because of the 'pronged' washer that they use in conjunction with the skewers where the washer has prongs that stick outwards, so that's what vice grips would grab onto, and it has prongs that face inwards through the frame, thus preventing vice grips from working on said washer at all. It's a brilliant design, but they're definitely expensive, which actually serves as another layer of theft protection as thieves can't simply or cheaply go out and buy a few sets to have the keys.

my bikes cost more than any car i've owned and i use hublox
pros: light, easy to install, good pricecons: only comes with one key, skewer ends are matte and not polished, difficult to torque downwhile there are a lot of protective measure available, i trust hublox on all of my bikes. i most recently purchased a set for an $800 wheelset i just built up.there's no such thing as an unbreakable lock; in my mind, the best thing you can do is increase the inconveniences a thief has to face. this is what hublox does--it adds inconvenience and turns your bike into less of a target. now, this doesn't mean you're completely protected, especially against bike thieves who really know what they're doing, but 95% of the scumbags looking to turn a quick buck at the pawn shop to feed their meth habit aren't going to be master thieves. hublox protects your wheels from the average scumbag looking to make a quick steal.regarding the "torque down" under my list of cons, the driveside end of my campy rear hub is flat, not toothed (no idea why). even under incredibly tight torquing, the hub kept slipping in the dropouts. i ended up having to put on a quick release rear skewer through the wheel to resolve this issue. for 99% of the hubs out there, this really isn't going to be an issue.

They are great for what they are designed to do
They are for temporary security for your wheels. These things aren't made to be able to leave your bike out overnight in Brooklyn or something. They're for securing your wheels to your bike while unattended for a short period of time. Riding around town, stopping in a store, having lunch, etc. they will keep your wheels safe. If you want real overnight/regular security use a big lock. Seems like common sense, but looking at other reviews it apparently isn't. Very pleased - got my wife a set for her bike too.One thing to note - the picture makes it look like you get two keys. You don't, it's just one.

Good quality, works well.
The skewers fit my mountain bike perfectly and are attractive. The key works fine, and fits in my saddle bag without taking much room (unlike the the Pinhead key I lost).I downgraded this two stars because unlike the picture showing the product, ONLY ONE KEY IS INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE AND THERE IS NO WAY TO BUY ANOTHER KEY. Had the picture shown only one key and a replacement key could be ordered, I would have given this 5 stars. I really hate being lied to or misled by a company.

Fit perfect and just as described.
I bought a bike and didn’t have the key. So I bought these for the key and put the skewers on my wife’s bike. They were very easy to put on and should add a very high level of security. Great addition.

A great product that I regret giving good ratings to
I like Delta Hublox because a number of the bike shops in the Boston area don't sell the product making it less likely that theives will have the tool. So far they have worked great and been easy to use.Sorry Delta, I want you to stay obscure. But even if this product takes off, it is still worth having.

Product is 5 stars but picture is wrong
The product photo (as of 12/2013) shows two security wrenches but only comes with one. This isn't a deal breaker but if it had come with two, as shown, I would be giving this a 5-star review.I've been using these for the past 6 months, aprox 200 miles, on my Cyclocross bike which see's 50/50 dirt/pavement. These skewers have been dependable and easy to remove. I've had a few flats and it only takes a couple extra seconds to wrench these off vs. a quick release. For me its worth the extra time as this bike is parked out on the streets of Seattle in not the best of neighborhoods.

Be careful. Check often.
Be careful. Make sure that these are really tight without twisting/stripping. I'm a very experienced cyclist (racer, mechanic).I tightened them up more than I thought I needed to and they still loosened up. Check them often.
