Great Way to Experince VR
I was pleasantly surprised with both the product and the customer service. I was worried my phone wouldn’t fit when I saw the outside dimensions of the phones pictured on the box (6 inches maximum). My Huawei Mate 9 is 6 1/4 inches with case and fits just fine with the case on. I was impressed with the construction and the ease of use right out of the box. It was a snap to use with my glasses and it fit comfortably. A pre-delivery email was sent with recommended apps and a contact person for questions. This was a remarkable show of customer support.. It's hard to believe such good support from a company in today’s business climate. Can’t really comment on the long term reliability as I’ve only had the Sytros VR Headset for two days. However, if you want the VR experience for a very economical price, this is the unit to buy. You will be impressed both with the construction and the ease of use for the price. Please note I do not play games with this device so I can't attest to it suitability for that purpose. However, the You Tube VR's are a great experience. You do have to pug in head phones after the case is closed and remove the jack to open the case. No big hassle and I really don't see any way around this. Certainly no deal breaker considering the quality and support.

This thing is junk and awesome at the same time
Pros:- It's very comfortable to wear.- It holds the phone in place perfectly.- The lens quality is great (I think. I have nothing to really compare with).- I don't have to take off my glasses to wear the headset.- The support people are very responsive, even though they were not able to resolve my issue.Cons:- The quality of construction is poor. The lid is not very secure. The slightest bump and the lid pops open.- The magnetic button thingy is useless on my LG V30+ and my wife's Samsung Galaxy 9.- Because of the useless button thingy, I can't run the Google Cardboard app, which was the very reason I bought the headset in the first place. But flaws aside, I like the thing so much that I am going to 3D print a replacement add-on button mechanism so that I can use Cardboard apps with this thing. Still, I gave it a low score because for me it is not, in fact, compatible with Cardboard as it claims.

Great headset with a few minor issues
The headset is pretty comfortable. It has a cloth covered pad instead of the typical faux leather or plain exposed foam. It is also very lightweight. The magnetic button works correctly, and the headbands adjust well. The lenses are adjustable and allow for good focus even with my myopia. The company behind it also seems to have great customer service if you should ever need it. Overall it works well, and I enjoy it. That said, there are a few issues that could be improved upon:1) the adjustment on the bands does not stay firmly in place, and over time needs to be readjusted.2) the bands are a little too elastic, which while very comfortable, allows the whole device to wobble when you move your head even when properly adjusted.3) the magnetic button falls off easily if you slide it with just a little too much force. A wider lip around it would solve this (you can fix it yourself with some hotglue or sugru), but at least they include a spare button in the box.4) there are vents, but my phone still overheats after some time. This is mostly my phone's fault, but the vents are rather small and better ventilation would certainly help.5) the suction cups used to secure the phone simply do not work on phones with textured backs. I've also tested it on phones with smooth flat backs and it works fine for those, but alas I, and many others, do not have such devices. I've solved this issue by cramming a little bit of foam between the back of my phone and the suction cups so that the phone is held in with clamping force, but it does make lining up the phone properly a little bit fiddly.6) there is no padding whatsoever on the nose area. I guess people with smaller noses wouldn't even have any nose contact at all, which would be fine, but for my slightly larger than average nose, having bare ABS plastic resting on the bridge of my nose does become uncomfortable after extended periods of time. It is at least smooth and rounded though, so it is easily fixed by attaching some padding. At the end of the day, I would still highly recommend this VR headset. It works well, is reasonably priced, and although it has some issues none of them are particularly serious.

Solid VR Headset. It works even with a case on my iPhone
I'm comparing this Sytros VR Headset with my Samsung Gear VR. The Sytros is indeed a premium headset for a very reasonable price! It's comparable with the Samsung Gear VR (minus the remote controller and touchpad of course)Hardware========Pros* Solid build* Great packaging* Fits with my iPhone 6S Plus. I don't have to remove my Spigen Tough Armor case* Good head strapCons (these are probably not cons but improvements)* I wish the side control is a touchpad similar to Samsung Gear* The magnetic side control works but it can be loud at times when you pull itSoftware========The main difference between the Samsung and Sytros is the ecosystem. Hands down the Samsung/Facebook/Oculus experience is way better and seamless. I can move around and run apps within the Samsung VR without taking out my phone. However with the Google ecosystem, I have to take out the phone to switch apps or to activate the Google Cardboard feature on the app.The good thing with Systros is it can be used with either the Samsung phones or iPhone phones. But I guess the credit goes more with the Google ecosystem in this case. But if you have a choice of VR experience, go with the Samsung ecosystem. But if your only choice is the Google ecosystem, get this Systros VR headset. However if you're like, I'd get both for the simple reason that I want to experience both ecosystems.
