I love this jerky. Just all around phenomenal. This is a drier jerky that packs are greater toughness, and equally greater flavor than those other brands like Krave, or Jack Links, masquerading as jerky. It's the type of jerky than when you eat it leaves you feeling that this is what jerky should be. If you enjoy softer jerky try giving this brand a try, you'll be hooked and will never go back.With regards to reviews discussing odd packaging: I purchase the 3oz Hickory Smoked Packs and have never had any issues with weird packaging or a lack of the product being consistent with size indicated.

My favorite jerky, and I've tried quite a few. I used to purchase it at Walmart, but they stopped carrying it. Found it on Amazon, purchased this 4 pack, but haven't repurchased since right after I bought it, they raised the price by 1/3, from about $23 to about $32. I gave it '4' instead of '5' on flavor because within an individual package, the consistency of spiciness sometimes lacks a little, but tolerable... this was true when I got it from Walmart, too.on 'freshness': I had one package that was not, maybe it wasn't fully sealed at the manufacturer, I threw it away, probably should have contacted the manufacturer , they probably would have replaced it.

Best jerky ever made, the peppered is better but I found it thru this.

This product is not what shown. The picture and ingredients does not mention smoke but what is delivered is nothing like what is mentioned. But after trying it you couldn’t taste the hickory flavor

I love this jerky because it's dry, not greasy like many. Perfect seasoning for me, and being a low carb diet guy, only 1 gram of net carbs for serving. So many mass jerky producers use sugars and corn syrup. Uncle Zebediah in the Rockies used salt and natural seasonings when he jerked meat, not freaking corn syrup and molasses. Outside of making my own, this is my favorite jerky.
