Sure, it’s not the highest quality speed-loader you can find. But it sure beats having to shove one round in the magazine at a time and tearing up my fingers.When you load the bullets into the speed load, you’re supposed to remove the slide that you use to push them in. Then you load the bullets in from the TOP, you don’t just shove them in there (which causes them to be loose). Sure, you can do the loose method but you’ll be loading 3 rounds at a time like one of the below reviewers.By sliding them in the notch at the top, they will hold in place MUCH better than just shoving them in the sides. Load 10 rounds into it, slide the grip back over, put the loader over your mag and voila, you can load 10 rounds at a time instead of the 1 or 3 most people are saying.

Doesnt hold .223 or 5.56. Track is too wide. Don't bother.

5.56 sits loose in the loading rail, can only load about 3 at a time because of this. Works ok that way, saves the thumbs some on a long day.

I got this and opened it and I gotta tell ya the quality of the plastic is worse then kids toys, but it loaded 30 rounds in about 25 seconds, down side is placing each round in the holder but once done just put the handle on and press and bam magazine loaded. No thumb pinching

first off it does work. you will need to use some type of lube on the rail so the shells will slide off smoothly. for most boxes of amo you will not be able to simply slide the cartridges onto the rail. most of the time i found myself putting the cartridges on one by one. once you have the rail filled it very smoothly pushes the cartridges into the magazine. make sure you are putting the amo in the right slot on the rail.

Used for speed loading rifles at the range. Ammo fits tight. I have to load one at a time on this loader which defeats the purpose of speed loading. Would not recomend

once you oil the slide a tiny bit these work great. 5.56 and 7.62

You need this for your AR’s! This thing is perfect and works great for loading your clips. Only does about 10-12 at a time though, but that is not a problem. I just wanted something that will save the thumbs & this does!! This is a must have!!
