After trying two stainless griddles, with first one rusting out on the bottom and the second one with failing spot welds on the bottom supports, this Carbon steel is perfect. The welding on the supports are solid thick welds and they provide such strong support that they can take full heat of the grill. The stainless griddles both warp with the grill at full strength. Some reviewers have complained that the griddle has rusted or the coating has chipped. If you have ever owned a carbon steel pan, you will know that it's vital not to wash your pan with soap and water. Because soap can remove the seasoning. I just wipe it down with paper towels and give it a quick rinse. I allow the surface to be stained with oil and grease. The residual food particles will add to the flavor of your meal. If you do that, you will never have a problem with rust because the more you use the griddle this way, the more seasoned the griddle will get. BTW, the drip hole is problematic for gas grills so I filled the hole with Permatex ultra copper max temperature silicone RTV.

I love this thing. I use it for my charcoal grill. It performs great. It's very nice quality and heavy. It spreads heat the way I want it too. It is a great addition to any grill. Well worth the money. Just remember to maintain it by cleaning and seasoning it and it is easy to use. Very happy.

I was a bit skeptical about heat distribution but it seemed to keep even heat across the entire cook surface. It was easy to use and easy to clean up. Very satisfied with this purchase

I have a natural gas grill and wanted to explore a griddle before buying something like a blackstone. I found this griddle and thought I'd give it a try. I've had it for a year and a half and used it many times. I absolutely love it. It is holding up very well and does everything i need it to do. It cleans up very well and as long as you season it properly, it stays clean and rust free. Go for it.

I am excited to finally find a flat top that works on my camp oven. Normally, I pack a Blackstone tailgater as well but now I won’t have to. This will really clear up some space and I can use it on multiple grills. The quality is excellent. I got this as a warehouse special at a reduced price and couldn’t be happier.

The hardware to attach handles is missing.

Although it is heavy it does cook very well and fast. Only used once but did a good job. It is very heavy so mind that.
