What age would you recommend starting his book?

I have 4 grandsons (ages 2, 3, 3, and 3) and all are enjoying making the letters and staying within the lines while they practice saying the letter names and practice the sounds with older sisters or parents. They do not have the fine motor skills yet to hold the pencil/crayon correctly all the time or focus on the formation of the letters. However, the goal is to start them off correctly with the letter formations because it is almost impossible to correct a child's grip once they start school. If they know letter sounds and names prior to Kindergarten, they will be able to transition into being successful readers more easily. If everything on the page isn't completed at the time, just save it to pull out again later when they are ready to practice actual letter writing. It is fun for them to see what they did earlier, review their early learning, and then show what they have learned and can do then.
