Steel blanks. Check locally to see if they can cut steel blanks before ordering!
I Couldn't find any Store/business that had a key making machine that could cut steel keys. Went to Walmart, Lowe's and then a local Locksmith. Locksmith said that the key was steel and that he couldn't cut it either with his machine neither. I ended up buying two keys from the locksmith and used the 2 key covers that came with these useless blanks. 1- Star only for the key covers. The 2 blanks bought and cut from local locksmith was cheaper then this kit all together. Save yourself trouble and heartache and just buy from local store. Never thought it would be that much of a hassle getting these blanks cut in the year 2021
