The Art of 3D Drawing: An illustrated and photographic guide to creating art with three-dimensional realism (Art Of...techniques)

The art work is wonderful, the illustrations are amazing. What I appreciated the most were the instructions on how to make things look 3D They were clear and easy to understand. Loved it!

Christmas present so not sure how my granddaughter uses this art book

I was hoping this book would really give me more than a basic idea of 3d drawing. I think there is only one picture of a drawing not from 3d view, which doesn't help me to learn. I needed to be instructed on the art not just shown how awesome the author is in his art, I already knew he was awesome, why else would I want his book that says it will teach me to be awesome too lol. Anyway, to me, it seems the author held back from actually teaching the method as if he didn't really want to share some sacred secret. I wonder if it was his idea to write this book in the first place. I suggest finding a different 3d artist to learn from and just be amazed by this ones art. The book was not very helpful for me.

So I haven't read it yet, but I wanted to understand what makes a picture realistic. I felt this would generally help my drawing.

This was a Christmas present for my Son who has recently been inspired by his Art Teacher to explore 3D drawing with Amazing results!Really have been impressed by his work!So thought lets get him a book on 3D drawing to help him, well the book arrived and what an amazing book it is, great illustrations alongside detailed how to do it as well. So good I wanted to keep it myself, but no. On Christmas day it was one of his pressies, unfortunately BOOKS are not as exciting as the latest DS Pokemon game, but least let's hope he uses it so that he can go to the top of his Art class and then fall off - sorry for a bad 3D pun!Great Book,Great IllustrationsGreat how to do it yourself!5 STAR in 3D ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ich habe mich schon immer für Illusionsmalerei interessiert und verfolge schon recht lange die Arbeiten von Stefan Pabst auf dem YouTube-Kanal.Endlich hat er ein Buch heraus gebracht, indem jeder einzelner Schritt leicht verständlich und mit der passenden Illustration erklärt wird. Dieses Buch ist in Englisch geschrieben, ist aber auch für die jenigen verständlich, die die englische Sprache nur wenig verstehen.Vielen Dank!

This is a book for beginners interested in 3D drawing, not sure why the author/artist uses oil paint on paper but he gets his ideas across.
