Ultimate...example of why authors need an editor
Spectacularly badly put together. First, the cover shows quinoa, which is not allowed on the GAPS so now I feel like I have to vet every recipe in here. And, it's basically a bunch of recipes that seem to mostly coincide with GAPS intro (which you can more or less find for free online) and even that is pretty badly explained. There is one single sentence that mentions that there is a full GAPS diet AFTER the intro and nothing else... so you're on your own. LoL The subtitle is laughable. Get What Can I Eat Now? By Cara Comini to do your intro diet and then look online for resources on the full GAPS. This book is a waste of time.

Gut and Psychology Syndrome Diet and Guide
I had no idea what GAPS was before reading through this guide and diet to improve health issues. Turns out, it means Gut and Psychology Syndrome, a way to improve gut health that is impacting brain health. It is done by removing certain categories of food from the diet in order to heal the gut. Once healed, some of the foods can be reintroduced. There is a nice introduction explaining the different health issues that can point to gut issues and how the diet can improve these health issues. If you do not like cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, squash, kale, parsnips, and yogurt then this diet is going to be very difficult for you since most of the recipes have one or more of these in them. The diet is broken down into stages with each stage explained. The length of time for the stages and overall diet depend on the severity of the health issues being conquered. Nicely written.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
