Digitrax DH123D HO DCC Decoder, 2-Functions 9-Pin 1.5A

I only needed a 2-functions 9-pin 1.5A amps. for my HO Locomotive. My locomotive is up and running perfect with this HO DCC Decoder most definitely this was a geat purchase. Yes, I recommend this Decoder as purchase.

I put it into an old Walthers Trainline FA-1 and it works just fine. I was able to use the wires which were connected to the PC board in the engine without any modifications after removing the board.

I bought two of these from Cream City Hobbies via Amazon. One was dead with a short and the other had problems. I contacted Cream City Hobbies who told me to contact Digitrax as they were brand new, which I did. After sending both units to Digitrax I receved a phone call from them informing me that any item bought on Amazon is not covered under warentee. Had to buy two new units. You may save a couple of dollars by buying Digitrax on Amazon but remember...YOU HAVE NO WARENTEE!

This decoder is a basic unit and is very trouble free , they can be moved from loco to loco without being damaged. In a nutshell this is a reliable and user friendly decoder.
