Good dice for Fallout RPG, but some mild defects.
As some reviewers have noted, there are some imperfections on these dice. For example, the 19 on one of the dice is not completely cut out, and there are some scuff marks on the d6s. Nothing too extreme, but for the price, you'd expect better quality. The dice are easy to read, roll well, and will likely make Fallout RPG much smoother to play (I have not run a session with them as yet). The set contains 7 custom dice - 2d20, a Hit Location Die, and 4d6. While you do not need this set to play, it is very helpful because otherwise you will need to consult charts when you roll dice. However, you might need 2-3 sets of these for a game, because you may be rolling up to 5d20 and a whole lot of d6s. 4d6 isn't enough for some basic weapons. At $20 a set, that gets very pricey for dice of this quality.About the individual dice:The d20: There are two d20s in the set. They are rather large (not as big as the giant dice, but significantly bigger than the typical d20), and are blue with yellow text (like the rest of the set). They are easily readable, and feel decent. The "1" is replaced with a symbol signifying a critical roll, otherwise it is effectively identical to any other d20 - you can easily use any 20-sided die in place of this one. Because of the large size, rolling more than 3 at a time will probably be awkward - and considering that you will be rolling the Hit Location die as well, may be an issue at some point. The Hit Location Die: This is another d20, the same size as the other two - however, instead of numbers, it contains hit locations. This corresponds to a chart in the Core Rulebook, where you roll a d20 and look up the result. This die removes the need for the chart - except that it does not apply to Mr Handy characters. In such case, you still need to use the chart (Mr Handy never gets much love in Fallout RPG products). The d6: This is the most important part of the set. Combat Dice (CD) are unique in this game, and have four faces: 1, 2, Effect, and None. Using a typical d6 means comparing a chart. The way these are made, there are no visual numbers or text - just symbols to count. This means no mental math, no converting numbers, just counting. I expect this will streamline playing somewhat (though after a few time rolling a normal d6, it's not too difficult). These are only slightly larger than a typical d6, and are somewhat more round.Overall, I'm glad to finally have these, but I wish they had better quality control. Also would have been nice to include a dice bag or something of that sort as many sets do.

Time to hit the Wasteland
Great set, I still believe the company overpriced the dice, but they are great quality and come in a nice box.

Great dice for the game
These dice are great for the game. They’re not a must-have since you can use any d20 or d6. If you’re looking for the full experience or to simplify/streamline gameplay, then these will be great.
