I love how it's so easy to fill up and use. After the initial rinses through a few times. It make the tap water taste so much better.

I received my order of two ceramic filters, well packaged and protected from damage. I was initially concerned because there is no identification that there is charcoal inside. The company contact via email replied, shake it, you will hear charcoal that's inside. Yes, charcoal inside as ordered.Ceramic removes particles like bacteria and sediment. Other contamination may be absorbed by charcoal. However, probably not going to eliminate water hardness, dissolved minerals. TDS might be reduced or not?

I am probably using them for the wrong solution but they do work for a while. I am a 3D resin printer and am using them to clean my alcohol that is used to wash excess resin from the models before curing. I can get about three gallons cleaned before they clog and can't pass much more. three gallons of IPA costs $105 and these filters cost $25 so there is a nice cost saving.

purchased for a DIY Isopropyl Alcohol filtration system, the glue that binds the ceramic to the plastic doesn't hold in these conditions. Worked well until it didn't.

As I haven't had a chance to use this yet I do have one just like it in use right now and it was easy to install and it was easy to clean and filters great I recommend this product to anyone wanting to use a filter to filter their water

I've been using these filter for the past 3-4 years with excellent results in the beginning but the quality has consistently fallen year after year and this last order has proven to be the worst. Charcoal is continuously coming out and the taste is horrible. My TDS meter shows 46 ppm of particulates (in the red). I wrote to the company and they promptly sent another filter set (very nice people) but the replacements also turned out to be a disappointment. When using these filters, check for the amount of sediment in the lower container and periodically check for off smells. Get a TDS meter and compare to tap water.

I noticed a big crack across the bottom of one of the filers.Update: The vendor send me a replacement and they look fine.

The nut is only threaded on a few threads, and either quality control cross threaded it or during transportation it fell on the nut and pushed it up the threads rolling 2 on one side of the nut. Couldn't tighten the filter enough to make a seal.
