Very good mirror and a very good price
This is a solid/heavy replacement mirror. I've been using it for 2 or 3 weeks and it's perfect so far. No shaking or vibrating, easy to adjust (manual). The mirror looks great, makes my other mirror look BAD - LOL.Reseller was great. Good packaging, quick ship, all parts including new nuts (even though you should not need them, you might well drop one or more inside your door when removing the old or installing the new mirror.I did watch a video on YouTube so I knew what to expect, and knew what I was getting ready to do.Install is not that easy, but that's on Chevy, not the mirror itself. If they would just make the opening larger, so you could get to the three nuts, this would have been pretty easy.Mirror includes a thick and soft gasket and once you get the three nuts tightened down, that mirror is solid.

Good enough. Great price.
I purchased this to replace the passenger side-view mirror on my 1997 Chevy Tahoe. It has been two years since purchase so I now have an idea of this item's longevity and, so far so good. Installation was straightforward but anyone with large hands will have difficulty installing the nuts on the mounting studs.Having a magnetic pickup tool to hold the nut against the stud then spinning the nut with your fingertip is how I did it. A ratcheting box wrench is also very helpful. The mirror itself is quite sturdy. It does vibrate a little bit at highway speed, but not enough that I have any problem identifying vehicles. In the intervening two years the price has gone up - a lot! I got mine for $30.89. For the price I paid I'm very happy with my purchase.

Arrived damaged, working so far
There are three bolts running to mount the mirror to the truck, one of them arrived severely bent. I was able to take a ball peen hammer to it and straighten it out in a couple minutes, checked that the nut still fit and slapped it on the old truck. My biggest concern banging on it was that I'd break the casting (cast zinc probably?) that the bolt was set into. The fact that it held up should suggest a pretty good build quality.I should add that the seller actually reached out to me and asked if there was anything they could do to make it right. Evaluating it objectively, I was probably out 15 minutes of my time, most of which was staring at it thinking what solutions were available. The work with the hammer was under five minutes. I didn't ask for any remedy from the seller, and I'm not changing the rating, but I like that they took the time to inquire if there was anything they could do.The mirror seems water tight, and it looks good enough. Damage out of the box notwithstanding, seemed like a good price for the build quality.
