Works as advertised. Good for limiting your teen's phone use.
Works as advertised. If waking from sleep mode, the release button can sometimes not work, but pressing around can encourage it to release the shackle.Good for limiting your teen's phone use.

Keep better control of my medication or your children’s antisocial gadgets
I suffer from chronic pain so as well as tramadol taken on a regular basis I also take co-dydramol at irregular intervals including during the night but obviously I must space that drug at a minimum of 4 hours between doses. So this padlock is my answer. I padlock my tablet container after taking a dose so that it won’t open again for another 4 hours. I don’t need to remember exactly when I took a dose, even during the night.Further more it is a well made lock. ( there is an override sequence which I avoid memorising!)There are many uses including locking away you children’s electronic time wasters at suitable times or putting a lock on you secret supply of chocolate to prevent overindulgence-by you!

Quite easy to use, does the trick.
Only slight downside is that once you have closed it and the count down has started, you can still stop the count down and the timer, but the only way Incan figure out to open it then is to set the timer to 1minute and start it. Which is a bit annoying, and then you have to click the timer back up to how ever long you wanted again.

DO NOT USE unless you have a backup plan
Initial impressions were good - the lock seemed pretty well made with metal back and sides and a plastic front that felt pretty strong, like you'd need some pretty heavy tools to smash it. Not as strong as a real padlock, and definitely not weather-resistant, but good enough for some uses. The instructions were largely incomprehensible, but by playing with it for a few minutes I was able to suss out how it worked. There's an "emergency unlock" feature. If you press and hold the H and M buttons for 10s then it will unlock. You can do this 3 times, then never again. So if you don't want emergency unlock, just do it 3 times in succession and that's that.It comes with a USB charge cable. If it runs out of charge while locked, it won't unlock until you charge it again! Worth bearing in mind if you aren't in a position to recharge it in such circumstances. The lock worked exactly as it should for a few days. Then it completely died while locked. This means it CAN'T BE UNLOCKED. Luckily for me it didn't matter too much on this occasion. So, whatever use you have in mind for this product, DO NOT USE IT UNLESS YOU HAVE A BACKUP PLAN for what to do if it stops working.

Timer only goes up
Once you close the padlock, it doesn't seem to open until you start a time. Also, you can only increase the timer. So once you close the padlock, and you overshoot the time you wanted you're stuck waiting extra. Really annoying!I
