This has by far been the longest lasting remote control car we have bought EVER. We have the worst luck with remote control toys and this has easily been the longest lasting and the easiest to operate with no issues connecting the remote control. We actually were gifted 2 and they BOTH have had no issues in the 6 months we have had them. Highly HIGHLY recommend.

But the second my 4-year-old laid eyes on it? Game over. He was hooked. Like, instantly. One transformation and suddenly the living room became a full-blown high-speed chase zone.From a parent’s point of view, the toy actually holds up surprisingly well. The transformation feature works smoothly and hasn’t jammed once—impressive considering how many times it’s been used (and crashed… repeatedly). The build is plastic but sturdy enough to take a few tumbles off the couch or a rogue hallway wall. Controls are simple enough that my kid figured it out without any help, which is a win for my sanity.There’s a button that makes it drive itself, my kid fell in love with pressing it. Good gift. I bought this for my nephew turning 5 and he loves it along with my 3 year old nephew. A lot of joy from it, quality is surprisingly good, speed is good and they love the sound and transformation. Easy for them to use. Worth getting as a gift

The remote-controlled car resembled the ones I usually wished for when I was bur a kid, myself. I cannot remember the age requirements/specifications on the toy, but I purchased the car for my four-year-old grandson to open on Christmas Day. It was quite cold here this year, so he quickly caught-on how to operate it indoors. Upon our visit the very next day, the weather was a little warmer so all three grandchildren went outside to show us their new Christmas toys. My only grandson could not wait to show me his "skills" - and he DID have them. They all live in a brand new housing subdivision so the streets are smooth and safe. Whether he was the only one in the middle of the street or if other neighborhood cars began to approach, even after I encouraged him to stop the car, pick it up and remove it quickly from the road, he again used his skills by "driving" the car off the road and jumped from the street to the driveway. The remote-controlled cars I got for Christmas when I was a boy seldom lasted for more than a day, then I felt left out as my new toy no longer existed. Christmas is just over two months in the past now and he is still enjoying his remote-controlled car as if it was new to him today.

I purchased this as a birthday gift for a 5 year-old boy who is into transformers. It was purchased 4 months ago and is still working. He loves the remote control aspect of the car and that it transforms. He was very excited.

This toys serves so many purposes. It is a police and a race car and a transformer at the same time, which is what my son was asking for. I bought it for a 6 year old but it was also a hit for my 10 year old as well. The quality is pretty good for the car that bumps into walls other cars and corners it has withstood quite well. It lights up but the light came off after a few months. It’s been 6 months from purchase and it still runs well.
