Good for the Price But Too Thin for the Screws
A typical fake wood shelf’s sides, top, and shelves are 5/8” thick. This one’s are just under 1/2” (almost 7/16”). That may not seem like a big difference, but with screws as big as they give you, you’re almost certain to crack the finish somewhere during assembly. There’s just not enough room for the screw in that thin width. Even with pre-drilled holes.Also, if you’re planning to use this without using the 5 chipboard pieces on the back, be warned that you need at least some to help the shelf resist torsion. Otherwise, a slight nudge from one end could make it break and fold up like an accordion. I’d recommend using at least 2-3 of the backer boards if not more. Paint them to match your wall color first if you want it to look open.That said, if you’re ok with the cracks, using the backer boards, and the lack of anything to hide the screws on the side, it’s a decent shelf. It does what I need, so I feel like I shouldn’t be that negative. Still, it would be good to be aware of those things before ordering.

Works well for my study.
Had some trouble putting it together at beginning. But my cats were helping. Once I got the central part together the sides and backing were easy. I like the look.

It wasn't at all as described. It came missing instructions and the company wants ME to pay the shipping to return it! It's very heavy! I shop Amazon to avoid this crap. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS AT ALL WITH THIS COMPANY!

Lots of nuts and bolts
I haven't put this together yet but I bought it and there were no nuts and bolts or anything else besides the wood. They sent me a whole new one and I don't even know if they charged me. Just prepare to spend a lot of time assembling.
