AqaraSmart Hub E1 Plus Aqara Door and Window Sensor, Zigbee Connection, Remote Monitor and Control, Smart Home Automation

I have a plethora of smart home devices. The Aqara hub was an awesome and much needed addition. I have messed with other sensors from different brands. None of which worked very well for me. I took a chance with Aqara after watching some YouTube reviews and hearing good things. I can say all the good things were right. The setup process for the hub was smooth and very easy. Plug it in and follow the steps in the app. Alexa integration was very easy as well. Pairing the sensor was very very easy. Pull the battery tab and connect it on the app. Took mere seconds. The sensor is fast…and I mean very fast. It is also extremely accurate. I have yet to have a connection issue from the hub or the sensor. One huge plus for me is the tiny form factor of the sensor and hub. The sensor was surprisingly small when I got it out of the box. Im talking maybe 1.5 - 2 inches small. I plan to buy many more sensors to enhance my smart home. I highly recommend Aqara to anyone looking to do the same. The uses for these sensors are limitless.

Using Aqara products within the Apple Home ecosystem requires a hub and this is the least expensive of their many hubs. It's easy to set up and add accessories to and they show up in the Home app after adding to the hub.It has good range even though it is only powered by a USB power adaptor which is not included.I'm using the door sensor on my garage door in a detached garage outside the house about 25 feet from the hub and it works well. I'm also using a Aqara motion sensor connected to this hub to control the lights in the laundry room that is in the basement, the hub is on the first floor and it also works well.This Aqara combo is a good value and a great way to get started with your smart home.
