Great for Frequent Movers
My husband and I love books. Unfortunately, our jobs require us to move every 2 to 4 years. We needed to find a bookcase that was easy to move, but would be durable. Initially, we purchased a cheap particle board bookcase to use at our new house. However after that bookcase began to fall apart 2 days later, I knew we needed a better solution.I am delighted with this purchase. This bookcase is great. As others have commented, the hardest part is getting it out of the box. The box weighs about 40 pounds, but the case itself feels lighter. It is very sturdy, feeling more like a heavy duty utility shelving system more than a bookcase. However, it is easy to move and light enough for one person with very little upper body strength to move on her own.Once the bookcase was out of the box, all I had to do in order to set it up was to stand the bookcase up and pull on the outside poles in opposite directions. The shelves unfolded perfectly. Then, I latched a latch on the back of the second highest shelf to hold the bottom shelves in place. Finally, I folded the top shelf over, it operates on a hinge, and latched that shelf to the other side. That was it. No tools or frustration required. It probably took me 10 minutes to get the shelf out of the box and put it together. About 8 out of the 10 minutes was spent getting the shelf out of the box. From what I can tell, the bookcase is all metal. The shelves are solid, think a smooth slab of wood, and not wiry. None of my books, including my collection pieces, have been or are in danger from the shelving. I am delighted with this purchase and would gladly purchase another. It is perfect for anyone who moves frequently, such as military families or college students. The only thing I did not anticipated is that the entire bookcase is narrower than I imagined.

A very good value!
I ordered two of these. Both black. I received a black and a bronze. I ended up liking the bronze color more so I didn't mind the mistake. I didn't need them to match, but it would have been frustrating if I did.The bronze bookshelf has a slightly warped top shelf, and one of the circular support feet was difficult to screw in. However, the bookshelf seems sturdy and looks surprisingly cool with the crisscross design. It was very easy to unpack and open. No assembly at all, really. Just take it out of the box, open it, hook a mid latch, and flip the top shelf over and latch. It sways side to side if you push lightly, but I think someone would have to fall into it to cause it to break. Front to back it is solid and very stable. There is no way this will tip forward. Definitely a good value. I kind of expect some small issues when getting such a big bookshelf with no assembly and at a very low cost.

For Shows
I use these shelves for 'pop-up' shows. They are beautiful and easy to maneuver, set up, and take down. I now have 6 of them for the shows and do not regret anything.I like the sides wired as it keeps the product in place and hands from slipping products out the side. (Which, unfortunately, happened when really busy.)

Great for the money; one star off for carpet stability
This is a great bookshelf solution, as all the other reviews indicate. It really is easy to set up and move, and I find it to be attractive. One issue I was worried about were the reports that the shelves do not lie flat; for me only the third shelf from the bottom has an arch to it, and it is so minor you cannot notice it.My main purpose in writing this review is to note that this shelf is indeed somewhat wobbly on carpet. Internally, meaning the shelf itself, it is extremely sturdy and holds all of my very heavy books. It does not, however, want to fully settle on a carpet, and has a slight wobble. This will never ever be an issue for me, a single man in a studio apartment with this shelf in a corner, and this issue is incredibly minor, HOWEVER - if I had a huge German Shepherd and two toddlers running around, I might think twice. It might not be a big enough issue to worry about, even in that instance - but then again, maybe it would be. One star off for carpet stability. GREAT SHELF OTHERWISE.

Great Rack!
I have been an Oragami fan for years and have at least 11 throughout my home in various sizes, this tall narrower one is my favorite. The look is very attractive and can fit in your home decor, I bought this unit for my kitchen but decided to use in my bathroom instead, I have another one in there ready, but with my 2 teenage girls sharing the bathroom, it requires all the storage I can get! I only gave it a 4 for sturdiness because it doesn't seem to be perfectly stable and sways a bit, I even tried taking the feet off and it still swayed. I decided it wouldn't work for the kitchen for fear of it falling with the weight and someone accidentally knocking into it. I never had that problem with any of the other racks, it seems like it is a bit lighter too. I am wondering if they changed the metal to a lighter weight? All in all, it is a great shelf, no assembly and looks fantastic!

I love Origami Bookshelf Bronze Stamped
I love Origami due to being strong and sturdy but yet collapses easily for moving. I have many versions of them but this one is so Preety. The stamped bronze one exceeded my expectations in quality and build.I got 2 more of the 6 stamped shelf bronze for a total of 3. One has books and the other 2 will holdSome of my aerogarden's that keep multiplying like potato chips. Origami makes great stuff you can trust and are so easy to take with you when moving. Game Changers.

functional, good value
got it today, unboxed and setup.pros:*) for the money I guess the product is reasonable.*) foldable shelf (neat trick)*) arrived undamagedcons:*) bronze looks weird in-person, doesn't color coordinate as well as i thought it would in my room.*) dirty unboxed, make sure you wipe it down after unboxing. to the naked eye it looks clean, but after wiping with bounty towel you'll see the cloth turns black*) after wiping the shelf down, it smells of iron. this is what i most disliked about it, hoping that smell goes away after it dries*) the shelf's screw on foot pads are hard plastic, i wouldn't recommend it on hardwood floors, should be fine on carpet or tile. I ended up cutting part of the cardboard packaging to use as cushion on my hardwood floors*) doesn't seem like it's precision built, the back clamp hole doesn't gracefully align with the nub it needs to meetup with. I had to figure out the shelf tolerances and kinda find out where to push to get enough flex so it would barelyenter the clamp hole.*) folding action is somewhat stiff, you have to approach it tactically
