For whatever reason, Panasonic coin batteries are the only batteries that "work" in Mercedes-Benz key fobs. By work I mean when you replace the battery, you no longer receive a dash message telling you to replace your fob battery. If I use any other battery manufacturer's battery in the key fob, it will still tell me to replace the battery even after it has been replaced. The battery still works, but I have no idea what its life expectancy will be since I am receiving the replace battery message from the start. Something to be aware of.

Good purchase - nice to have inventory on hand

I have a few small gadgets around the house that use CR2025, so I like to keep them on hand. My last batch (brand unknown) lasted 15 years before I ran out. The batteries were still going strong 5 years beyond expiration. I store them in a small manilla envelope in my battery supply box. Usually a pack of 5 button batteries outlasts the gadgets, but it's so nice to have on hand when you need them.I think the Value for the Money on this brand and size is great due to their stated longevity (expiry dates) and price point.I took 1 star off because the packaging date (PD) and expiration date (ED) are really hard to read because it's faded red ink stamped on the back. Fortunately, each individual pack in the set is stamped, so as you tear one off to use it, the others still have a stamp. For reference to longevity, I purchased in Nov 2023; the batteries are stamped PD 08/2022 and ED 08/2032. Good enough.
