String Craft: Create 35 fantastic projects by winding, looping, and stitching with string

I really wanted to like this book, but many of the projects were uninspired and reaching, as if the author was trying to find enough projects to fill up a book. The notebook on the cover was by far the nicest project in the book. I kept trying to like this book, and now I am just sorry I did not return it.

I got some good ideas from this book, but I only wanted the string art portion.

This book is packed full of unique projects that are unexpected and "sew" doable for every level of crafter. It will make you look at the objects around you in new ways and consider embellishing them with all sorts of stitches and patterns. You can create all sorts of images with small to large fiber and simply poking holes, hammering nails or simple screws or using already existing grids. The wrapping projects are some of my favorites as the objects are so vibrant and festive with the colored fibers. The jewelry projects are so dainty but are not so intricate as to be too challenging. This will definitely be a go-to resource for embellishing and upcycling objects throughout the house.
