Autotrol1040930 Bypass

Exactly the replacement part for my water softener. I only give it 4 stars because it comes with only two rubber gaskets. There are four gaskets needed and I couldn't find the other two in any hardware store around. I used two of the old gaskets, but would have felt better to be able to have all four new, since I was replacing the whole part.

Wasn't sure this would fit my old water sofener. Worked great. It only came with 2 gaskets so had to reuse 2 old ones from the valve I was replacing.

Easy replacement. Gaskets are standard size and replacing those are the normal maintenance routine. Needed to replace entire assembly which became mis-aligned over the 10 years of use. All is well

It worked as advertised. No complaints on my part. Hopefully I don’t have to order it again.

I ordered this valve to replace the original bypass, which had cracked. The replacement came with necessary parts and gaskets for installation and was a perfect fit.

Had a leak on my water softener and needed this piece. It was easy to put on and stopped the leak.

Perfect fit. Water Softener went bad and started spraying water all over. Some would have bought a new one, however, with a bit of trouble shooting it was obviously just the Bypass Valve.Ordered this valve based upon the image largely. Installed the unit and turned the house water back on. Perfect fit. Far better than the stock unit for my Glacier Bay unit.
