I bought the AlcoMate AL7000 precisely because it was the only one that enabled you to replace the sensor yourself. I used this to replace my old sensor, and it was simple. Open the access door, pull the old one straight out (no tools needed) and snap the new one in. Now the calibration warning is gone from the device, and it works great.Update: After only about 3 months, I got a CAL warning. I ordered another one, hoping the first was just defective. The one that came in my AlcoMate lasted about a year.

This is the second module I`ve bought in the last year and have since found out they have an expiry date.The first unit lasted 3 months without hardly any use.The second unit expires in December this year.Beware.

the component came in a box that was damaged. The sensor displayed an error code 22. i had to order a 2nd sensor that worked. I would like my credit card refunded please.

Ordered this sensor module, which arrived within 24 hours. In less than a minute, I opened the sensor door, pulled the old sensor out and put the new one in. It works great, just like brand new. No concerns if the results are correct anymore. Should have ordered this sooner.
