Flavorful and fast meal
This comes with 2 flavors, 4 of each for a total of 8 bowls. I personally prefer the taste of the one with umami sauce, but really both are absolutely delicious. They make great fast and easy meals that don’t take much effort to make and are easily to pair with other proteins (i usually throw in chicken/meat/or seafood)

Very delicious bowls of ramen, but pricier than many other options.
These are some really good instant ramen bowls. They're yakisoba so you're intended to drain the noodles after a quick bit of cooking. You can totally leave in some water and have it soupy, it's just not the intended way to enjoy these. There are drainage slits on the lids for each of these bowls that you uncover by peeling off a sticker. The noodles taste really good for something instant. They also give off a very strong flour scent while being cooked. The noodles grab onto sauce very well and have a nice chew. My brother and I both found the Black Pepper bowl better than the Umami bowl, but that's not to say that the Umami bowl is bad by any means. The garnishes are great and pair perfectly with the Yakisoba, and the sauces end up getting entirely coated. These are really delicious, no doubt. But at 5 bucks a bowl, it's hard to say they're good value. Instant ramen is notorious for being a dirt cheap option for a dish that's filling. These bowls from Menraku are absolutely better than a lot of other instant ramen options but cost way more proportionately. You also get fewer noodles here than dollar packs of ramen, so you can't argue that these bowls are super filling.I will likely be ordering more bowls from Menraku since their bowls don't include meat, and I'm really glad I found out about them. But these are not a direct replacement for cheap ramen that you stock up on by the shelf-full.

Delicious Quick Meal
I can tell how good an "instant meal" is by how quickly my teenage brother devour it. And this was good. They even got to my ration of the meals...These yakisoba noodles are delicious - and easy meal to take to school/work or prepare at home when cooking feels like a chore. Add hot water, wait, and drain. Perfect! It was easy enough for my 12 and 17 year old brothers to follow the directions on the packaging and make it themselves. Both flavors were good, although my personal favorite was the black pepper. All in all, I would love to repurchase but I just can't justify the cost. At $4.72 a bowl, this instant meal is pricey. If there is every some on sale, I will make sure to stock up!

One Flavor is Better Than The Other
I could not find a freshness date on the outer package but they seem fresh. Both flavors come with a dry pouch and a liquid pouch. For the black pepper and garlic flavor you add boiling water, wait 3 minutes, drain the water through the built in strainer then add both packages. For the Umami flavor you add the dry pouch with the water, drain and then add the sauce package. The black pepper was my favorite as it had a bold peppery flavor. However it was also quite salty. The next bowl I'll make I'll cut back on both the dry and wet packages as it was almost to a point of over seasoned. It was definitely over salted with 1420mg of sodium. That's over half the 2300mg you should have in a day.The Umami flavor was milder in flavor and sodium. and only had 940mg of sodium. That's still high but can be managed into the 2300mg/day if you're careful.Compared to the pepper flavor the Umami was under seasoned. Both were good but just off the mark of being great.

Not sure where the mayo is, but otherwise good.
I was expecting more mayo presence, wouldn’t know if you never told me. But these are otherwise tasty and are super easy to make, although maybe I won’t drain next time and have it more like a soup; which I like, as it makes these more versatile. If you’re stirring with a fork, be careful you don’t puncture the bowl. I have a “value for money” in my rate features, otherwise I would leave the value up to the customer, so I will say these are overpriced; the company needs to do a better job packaging these if they’re going to charge this much, but mine arrived fine.

Wonderful flavor for both varieties
Several of us here in our household enjoy different Japanese noodles. This was our first time trying these and let me tell you, they are really, really good! There are two flavors with four packages of each. Black Pepper/Garlic soy Sauce Yakisoba with crispy tempura crumbs, and the Umami Original Spicy Soy Sauce. My favorite is the Umami - it's not very spicy which is exactly what I was looking for. It's got just a hint of a kick to it. It does have a wonderful umami (think meat in broth) taste complimented by the soy sauce and vegetables.Others in my family really like the pepper and garlic flavors - again it packs a really good amount of flavor into a little package. All you need to prepare these is some boiling water. Open the pack a bit, put in the dried veggies, pour the water in, reseal the pack and wait 3 minutes. Pour out the water and add the sauce and you're done!

Listing needs ingredients
The listing for these yakisoba bowls doesn’t include the ingredients, which meant I was actually kinda majorly foolish ordering them. Due to the ingredients, my daughter and I couldn’t eat these, and while my husband technically could, he passed due to the quality of ingredients. Handing these off to the college food pantry, where I’m sure the college kids will scarf these up. If you love “regular” yakisoba or ramen bowls and don’t have to worry about ingredients, these will be nice pantry stand-bys.

Super easy to prepare
Review for: JAPANESE CHOW MEIN YAKISOBA, UNIQUE VARIETY FLAVORS MENRAKU JOYFUL BUNDLE, UmamiThese bowls are super easy to fix, add boiling water and in three minutes you have soup. You get two completely different flavors, both delicious but I prefer black pepper one. It has more spice. My soup bowls arrived completely intact with all bowls in good shape.
