Great cooling power
Impressive cooling form this AIO kit, personally I didn't need the GRB controller as my other fans only have one RGB colour so just plugged directly into the board and the standard software works fine changing the colour, The instructions are not the best I ended up ditching them and just going with what seemed logical. It's cooling performance if great my CPU never runs hot even under a heavy load

Works really well to keep my 7900X cool
Paired this with an Lian li lancool III and it fits perfectly, cooling is spot on, using an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X and a 4090. Very quiet, keeps CPU nice and cool and the RGB is a nice touch. Would ideally have gone for the A-RGB but no stock at the time of ordering.Fantastic product as always though from arctic cooling and at a great price also. recommended!

I spent 8 hours to install this one
I bought the most expensive and highest performance CPU ( AMD 7950x ) and Cooler and the manufacturer of the "ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 420 RGB" did not bother to put a MANUAL how to install this cooler. It seems the cooler has a gravity sensor that does not start the water pump but it starts the fan.My processor AMD 7950x with the cooler ON the motherboard was going up to 105 degrees Celsius and then the computer was shutting down. It happened a lot of times until I rewritten the bios software to test the cooling capability of the CPU before pc start. The cooler has multiple mounting positions on AMD so is not straight forward. I found a video on YouTube how to mount the thing correctly and make that pump work. When the pump started finally it made a sound as it was clogged or something similar.Spending 8 hours to mount this thing is not fun at all. There should be a MANUAL no matter what.

Beware! A beast of a radiator!
First things first, ensure that your case can handle this beastly radiator, cuz it’s huge (that’s what I wished she said). The 420 was about 2 inches too big when I tried to mock-fit it in my Meshify 2 Compact ATX mid tower, so beware!I couldn’t really make use of the Arctic Freezer II 420, due to not only the size of the radiator, but also due to me returning the 420 because it arrived with no bubble wrap cushion, and the product packaging was loosened and undone, prompting me to issue a return just to take no chances. The seller was very professional and quickly issued me a full refund shortly after the return arrived to them.If I ever get a bigger case in the future (Lian Li o11 Evo, I’m winking at you), I’ll definitely be getting the aRBG 420. Instead I went for the aRBG 360 version, and the three Phanteks 120mm T30 with Phantek aRBG haloes setup that I previously had ready, fit perfectly on the 360 with no problems, but most likely may of have not fit on the 420 (didn’t test, but assuming due to the 140mm stock fans on the 420). I used the 120mm aRBG fans that came with the Arctic Freezer II for my case, which I would of done the same with the aRBG 420 stock fans as well. The three stock aRBG fans being used as my case fans are pretty quiet, and even with the T30s as my radiator fans, it’s still very quiet all around, literally silent (I have to stick my ear to the front of the case to even hear anything). I’m getting 26C to 30C temps with 72-74F exterior ambient temps, and 29-32C with 78F exterior ambient temps on idle with my 13900K, so I can only imagine how much cooler the temps would be with the 420 model. Also, the 420 model came with an LGA1700 plate adapter which was a nice bonus, but if you go with the aRBG 360 model, you’ll have to order the adapter separately. The pictures are from the 360, but I uploaded them just for reference on how the 420 may look. Also, if Arctic could ever come out with an LCD display adapter to be fitted on top of the pump and VRM fan, I’d definitely buy that. Such an amazing AIO deserves a cool looking LCD display.

Best AIO on the market.
I think this is the only AIO out there with a 420mm long, 38mm thick radiator, and 3 140mm fans. You would be forgiven by looking at the radiator that it was for a custom water cooling setup. It's substantial! The hoses and fan wires are protected with sharp looking braided sheath and metal ferules at the ends. The pump is more egg-shaped and larger than most others I've seen, and has a 40mm fan mounted on it and blows towards the VRM. I find the pump and the VRM fan to be really quiet, but highly effective. Quieter than the NZXT Krakken X72 I had before. So, I have a i9 12900K on an Asus Strix Z690E. Before, with the X72 OC temps (CPU Pkg) often went above 80C.With the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 420, the maximum temps I've had are in the low 70C's, and noticed a small decrease in my VRM temps too.Just for transparency, on both the X72, and the Arctic 480 I added 3 additional fans for a push/pull configuration.
