Total Game Changer
I told my husband I would definitely take time to leave a review on this product in hopes to help a desperate sleep deprived mama out there. I was so desperate to find a solution to getting my four week old to sleep independently without constantly waking up when transferred due to his startle reflex. At the four week mark my son refused to sleep without being held and would very quickly wake up kicking and waving around his arms regardless of how long he had been asleep on me prior to the transfer. This caused me to be completely sleep deprived and ultimately led to me falling asleep on me as I dozed off out of desperation. I would ask my husband to watch me sleep me him on my chest so that I could get some rest but it was very unrealistic and unreasonable because my husband was also tired⦠this lasted about 3-4 days and we sat down to discuss some possible solutions. We watched videos .. read a book on the topic .. and continued doing research in desperation to find a solution. We learned that the startle reflex would be present until about 3 months of age and also read that our son wanting to be held constantly is also completely normal .. if youāre not aware you should read up on the missing 4th trimester ā¦We decided we needed something that would allow our son to feel like he was being held closely as well as something to fix the startle reflex waking him up. Once he reached four weeks his startle reflex got very strong .. something we also read about the is completely normal. We were beginning to feel very foggy .. angry and helpless. We also felt bad for our son who Iām sure experienced the same feelings not being able to sleep peacefully without being held and consoled the entire time .. with chores and duties to attend to we were unable to give him that for his 17 hour a day sleep needs. He hated being swaddled with his arms compressed so we had been using a nested bean and Kyte baby sleep sac with his arms out up until we began experiencing his refusal to sleep on his own. We were so confused .. wondering if we had triggered something to cause him to reach this way. I began asking myself if I caused this issue because I allowed him to sleep on me throughout different times in the day. Was I instilling a bad habit ? I found this option here on Amazon and thought this would be a possible game changer. This sleep sac allows him to have his arms up (which he loves) and also allows the arm cuffs to be removed when heās ready. Also, I would the weighted asleep around the tummy and chest. I kid you not within minutes we watched our son make a little fuss and then go to sleep on his own in his crib wearing this sleep sac. My husband and I were shocked! He went back to sleeping his 2 1/2-3 hour stretches and quickly adjusted to his arms being gently held down for him to peacefully rest. We are so so happy that our son is back to his normal sleep regimen. Mommy and daddy were able to finally get a daytime nap time yesterday when we received this. It was truly a miracle. After seeing such quick results we ordered a second one lol .. mommy tip: always have at-least two sleep sacs because accident so happen and it would SUCK to not have an additional clean sleep sac. Doing laundry when he has a leak or spit up mess in the middle of the night is just not realistic. I really hope this helps a family out there that is experiencing the same or similar issue as we did. This is most certainly a saving grace!

Worth Trying
This is a great option for a swaddle. Expensive but potentially worth it if youāve tried others. Every baby is so different, so I would encourage you to try it even if other reviewers say itās no good. Several reviews mention the Ollie being better, but I had to move on from the Ollie. Donāt get me wrongā¦the Velcro on the Ollie blows this one out of the water. But this is also very well made, and I ordered it because of two things 1) the weighted component and 2) the little zip off wings. My baby wiggled out of EVERYTHING early on, and the Ollie was magic for us until 8 weeks. Somehow she started wiggling her arms out but only at night during longer stretches of sleep. Iād find her with it at her belly and her arms flying all over the place. So I came back on Amazon and started ordering different swaddles we hadnāt tried yet. The Velcro doesnāt stay as well on this one but there is something about it that just works for my baby. I donāt know if itās the weighted chest or the tighter fit (it does run a little smallā¦my baby is a little on the small side so this is snug and perfect for her) but she doesnāt really even want to try to wiggle free. Sheās slept through the night almost every night for the past two weeks with this! If she does wiggle free, her hands go up into the wings and she can try to self soothe. Itās good practice for her for when we transition out of the swaddle.Iām also never worried about it being too tight unlike the Ollie. The Ollie fabric is nice, but Iād get really paranoid about how tight it was.You just never know what your baby will take to until you try it!

Honest Review
I saw ads for this swaddle on social media and thought I'd give it a try. I have been using this swaddle for a little over a week now and here's my honest opinion of it.Pros:- it is IMPOSSIBLE for my baby to wiggle out of this swaddle- the arms up option is exactly how my baby prefers to sleep- the mesh lining in the arms allows him to suck on his hands to soothe himself since he refuses to use a pacifier- the fact that the sleeves are removable is nice- the weighted sections around the chest and sides of the torso are properly placed as I often find myself placing my hands on those spots when holding him- I like the inner band that velcros around my baby's torso - as soon as I wrap that around him he immediately starts to calm down a little- as far as the self soothing design, I do feel it works best during the startle reflex but it is NOT a cure all to keep your baby asleep- the 2 way zipper is essential and convenientCons:- the 2 way zipper could go down a little farther to make it easier to get fidgety legs out during diaper changes- my baby is 3 weeks old and the mesh sleeves are starting to become snug on him- this swaddle runs small so get the bigger size (I did and I'm worried how much longer it will fit and that goes against its worth for the price in my opinion)- the neck definitely goes up too high as I often find myself constantly tugging the whole swaddle down or running a finger along the neckline to make sure my baby can breathe (he can but it's just a little nerve wracking sometimes to see it so bundled up under his chin)- don't listen to the instructions when it says to keep the velcro tied during the drying process because it comes out wet every time. I leave it undone for better results- again, this swaddle is great but it is not a cure all for if your baby is fighting sleep. So don't think that for the price you've finally found the missing key to getting your baby to sleep through the nightUltimately, I like this swaddle better than the other swaddle alternatives I have tried so far and I believe it's worth the price.

Made nights easier
Little one calmed down really fast and slept most of the night.

Great design, poor execution.
Although I love the design, there are a few things that would stop me from giving 5 stars.Number one: Sizing. As previous reviews stated, the sizing seems to be a little odd. I used this for my 2 week old and I can already see it will be too small in a couple of weeks.Number two: I find the neck way too high. It really seems to bother my LO having the neck up so high, either the zipper or neckline rub against her neck/chin causing her to wake.Number three: I find it very tricky to dress babe as this swaddle makes her very warm.

Great!
Very easy to use, very effective. My LO loves it! Of all the sleepsacks that we tried this one is the only one that holds her in 90% of the time.Would give it 5 stats, but the sizing is off. My 3 month old barely fits into the largest, which is marked to be for babies 3-6 months old š¤£šAnd the inner velcro is sadly very weak. Two washes and barely holds. But together with the outer zippable folds it still holds my Houdini in better than all the other brands we tried!

Wonāt fit 6 months
It worked very well the first night with my 10lbs baby, whoās only 2 months. Itās stretchy, and well made, however there is no way this will fit him past 4 months.Make sure you wash it immediately. Like some of the other reviews, it comes out with a strong smell. My son slept 6.5 hours the first night but thatās only because I was worried about how hungry heād be and woke him. He went on to sleep another 2 hours after.*** updating my review***We liked the Zen One, but he only fits a 3-6 month which is meant for a 13Lb + baby, and ours is 9, and the 3-6 month barely fit him, however the hazard is the beans are too heavy for him since heās only 9lbs.So much potential, however poor execution and a safety hazard.

Needs more size options
(1 month old wearing 3-6m size) My baby instantly slept better: she would settle back to sleep more easily and on her own while wearing this. Normally I wrap her in a muslin swaddle, and she doesnāt like her arms being down at her side, and if her arms are free she will shake/startle herself awake⦠this arms up swaddle seems to satisfy her security needs!! unfortunately the mesh arm sleeves on the product are nearly too squished for her arms and hands. The āsmallā size (3-6m) is too small for her, she is 1 month old and itās very snug on her which is great for feeling secure. However the sizing option says 3-6 months, so I wonāt get the value for that length of time, so the price needs to reflect that in my opinion⦠unless they add more sizing options. I donāt know how much my baby weighs currently, but she was born full-term at 40 weeks, weighing 7lbs 13oz.I do recommend the swaddle. Just know that it will fit your baby wayy better if they are a small/petite size and weight.
