Your are more than what you think
Enjoyed this book overall , rather simple approach but so profound.Talking into consideration ive done alot of this type of work. I was hoping to find some new gems and did i ever. The chapter on Reiki got my curiosity for this modality rekindled.Reiki: It is a Japanese word that combines “rei” (universal) and “ki” (life force). “Ki” is very similar to the Chinese word “qi” and essentially means the same thing. These is also a very small section on drumming. This is another area of vibration and frequency that I need to dig into more.Pros: Easy ReadCons Easy Read:)

A great starting point!
This book is for people, like me, who are interested in New Age Spirituality but don't know where to begin. Searching for information on New Age online is an overwhelming experience that can be so exhausting, making you want to give up. Thankfully, this book helps. There were a few times when reading the book that I wished the author had included more information on certain topics, but then I realized that would've been detrimental. Going too in depth in one aspect would push the book away from its purpose, which would in turn make it bloated and too cumbersome to read for a neophyte like myself. If you're looking for a starting point into New Age Spirituality, then this is a book for you, and good luck on your journey.

Excellent Introduction
This short work is a terrific introduction to what has become a terribly confusing subject: spirituality. Mr. Kelsang does a very good job bringing difficult subjects into focus, starting with a short history of the subject, Mr. Kelsang moves quickly through the major religions, not in a pejorative manner, but instructive, giving the reader/beginner the proper background for understanding. He works his way through the key points of spiritual training and does an excellent job of explaining esoteric topics. I thought his explanation of reincarnation was amazing. The text is well structured and well written. Five stars!

Insights on the way to spirituality for beginners
Very informative and well-structured book. The author masterfully familiarizes the reader with the topic and gently guides the reader. If I totally expected to learn about all the religions leading towards spirituality, I was pleasantly surprised to read about the effects of food. Another topics that I've really enjoyed in the book are energy and chakras. Even though it's not. anew topic, I thought it was very well-presented in the book, easy to digest.

Commndable Introduction
Beginning with Buddhism, then moving onto Hinduism, Taoism, Christianity, Hoodoo(which I knew little) and Islam. The author begins with a very succinct explanation in basic terms on the fundamentals of these philosophies.Tarot and numerology were less interesting, but astrology was intriguing and I learned quite a bit. Honestly, I skipped the minute section on yoga since i have been a practitioner for may decades.Asa Kelsang produced a commendable short treatise AS ADVERTISED 'New Age Spirituality for Beginners.'
