Yes you can via the APP only. This is where I think GOVEE should improve this portion...There is no option to have the lights turn on or off automatically or via an AI (Alexa or Google).

No filter. This is a ultra sonice humidifer. It should bee cleaned every week or so. The app will actually remind you to clean it.
