This bar shampoo is fantastic. It lathers up beautifully, no different than a bottled shampoo. The bar shape is the best I have used so far, and I have tried several, good quality, bar brands. The scent (personally love the sandlewood) stays. I wash and blow dry my hair every morning, and I can still catch the scent at bedtime. My hair is soft and full. I normally have oily hair, the shampoo and conditioner handle that with no problem.

After watching the ad for this, I decided to try it because I have used bottle shampoos all my life. My hair was thinning and since I have been using it, I have new hair growth, and my part, which had started going down the back of my head, no longer does so. I truly believe in this product. Would recommend highly.

The Earthling Shampoo Bar took my post-menopausal, stressed out locks from dull and thinning to a modest shine and thicker texture in one washing.I had doubts, I didn't want to fork over $15 for a bar of shampoo half the size of my body cleansing bar because I think cynically about commercial products of every kind.Hype is often just hope. Parting with hard-earned money gives me reason to relegate potential purchases to my "save for later" list before eventually deleting them completely. I don't want to suffer buyer's remorse, so I don't buy at all many times.However, the strands of hair clinging to the shower drain did not lie. Nor did my dwindling ponytail. My hair needed help, so I shelled out the requisite amount and waited for delivery, which was early. Good job, Amazon.Facts: My shoulder length hair is on the dry side. I usually use Aussie products and wash my hair every three days/twice a week. I used to have straight, shiny dark brown hair and now, post menopause, have medium brown frizzier hair that turns Sun-In orange at the tips and graduates to darker brown at the scalp. I do not color or lighten my hair or take heroic measures to change it.My Experience: I tried my Earthling Shampoo bar the next morning, first using the instructions to rub the bar with wet hands to create a lather, then apply to my hair for washing as usual. I found it more effective to gently rub the dampened bar throughout my hair and scalp a few times and creating lather afterward.In my first use, I felt more body in my wet hair and used only enough product to feel the hair strands and scalp getting some attention, but not foamy lather. After washing, I rinsed and could feel a change in the weight and elasticity if my hair -- and I am a serious skeptic about product claims -- Earthling was, for the time being, giving a good show.Three days later, I repeated my washing and continued feeling the positive results. That first bar has lasted 6-1/2 months of twice-weekly washing and I am sold.I still detest paying for it, but my hair has improved texture, strength, and thickness and ... I can go 4-5 days between washings.Downsides: The cost of The Earthling Shampoo Bars does not have me wanting to stock up. I would like to pay less, but so far, I'm spending about $30 per year for this brand and liking the results, especially the thickness improvement of my over-50 locks.Another point loss for longevity of use of this bar, as a daily washing would eat up each bar in roughly 2 months. That might change my willingness to make this product my preference.In the end, I will stick with The Earthling for cleansing my hair. The results of better hair and scalp health won me over. A lower price point would make me ecstatic, of course. The company does offer a discount occasionally, such as the 20% off over the recent Labor Day weekend. I take what I can get on this front.I truly recommend this shampoo bar to anyone struggling with hair texture and shedding issues. It has made a serious difference in my haircare and daily life.

For reference my hair is long, fine, lots of it, oily roots and dry scalp. GREAT FOR GROWTH! It’ll take a lot to convince me to buy any other shampoo ever again! I love how clean, shiny, SOFT and fluffy it makes my hair. The conditioner is amazing too. Like awesome. Use the shampoo and conditioner on three different hair types. Thick, fine and curly, and fine and straight. But I can’t give it a 5 star rating because it only lasts me a month. I’ve tried everything. I put it in a dish to drain and stay dry and remove it from the shower so steam doesn’t melt it down. Even with being conservative with how much I use, and only washing my hair 2 or 3 times a week, it only lasts a month. In all fairness I share it with my 12-yr-old and 5-yr-old daughter but they wash their hair as often as I do. It’s really frustrating because I like it so much! And everyone else seems to be getting long lasting use out of it! But yeah, you’ll love it. 🫶🏼👍🏼

I've tried a few different brands of shampoo bars and this one is the best! It stays intact, creates a great lather easily and cleans hair and scalp well while leaving hair soft. I have long hair and I've been using this for over 2 months and still have plenty left. I'm fine trying different shampoos, sticking with this one!

Love this shampoo, highly recommended.. my hair feels amazing, barely any shedding and I was losing a ton and it’s only been 3 weeks using this bar.Love the smell and ease to use as well

The product was exactly what I thought I was getting based on the description and arrived within a decent timeframe. I have extremely thin, fine, hair. I found that my hair more easily broke off when I used any of the Earthling shampoo or conditioner bars. It has been a long road of trying to repair my hair since. It might just hurt thin, fine, hair. I am not sure though. Therefore, based on my personal experiences with these bars, I do not recommend them.

I have tried several shampoo bars and I like this one the most. The hair gets better the longer you use it, so don't get discouraged after the first use. It gives my long hair great body and extra fullness which is what I was looking for. I just bought the second bar. The smell is pleasant but not overwhelming, and it lathers really well. The bar lasted me over 3 months washing my hair every other day.
