Great for beginners
My husband isn't very handy around the house, but he decided to try to diy our new deck anyway. These were a lifesaver. They are perfect starters and once the deck is finished, you can't even see them. The set came with more than enough clips to space them out properly. It also comes with the screws that fit them.

They work but not great
Work with Trex Transcend deck boards. However, they don't fit as tight as I like. The tongue is too long so the board doesn't seat entirely and the tongue is set high enough that it doesn't hold the board down as well. I ended up crimping the tongue a little lower with some pliers. After about a year, these "stainless steel" clips are rusting. So are they really stainless steel or is this false advertising?

Worked great to start a line for a Trex deck.
I was installing Trex decking, and these clips worked perfectly for the groove for this type of decking.
