Yes, yes it does. I did this and added a cheap hhd. It already has a nvme m.2 installed so avoid those.

Yes, unlike most computers, the HDMI port is on the back. There is only a single port though.

I'm looking for a computer that can play Sims with a ton of mods. Can this computer hold a lot of things?

It meets the requirements to run Sims 4. What I would do though is upgrade the Ram to 16 gigs so it'll run smoother since the game will take roughly 4 gigs and then your operating system will eat into the rest of the 4. And get a cheap SSD or HDD so you don't slow down your operating system by having it all on one hard drive(plus more storage for mods). EASY to install both. Just make sure you get Ram with the 260 pin. And a 2.5 inch SSD or HDD (example A https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008RZLSWE?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title). Of course if you open the laptop to do this it'll void the warranty. So, if that's a concern then I'd got for a different computer.
