Heavy duty for smaller extinguisher applications..
A fairly heavy duty bracket for smaller extinguishers mounted in "high abuse" areas. Safety (bottle securing) strap isn't "easy" to latch, which is a plus but definitely doable for my 70 yr old beat up hands. This bracket holds the Vehicle/Marine (white colored bottle) SECURELY. Just be sure the bracket is mounted SECURELY to wherever it's placed.

Worth the investment
There's really no comparison between the plastic wall mount that it included with the First Alert fire extinguishers and this one. Mounting hardware is not included, so keep that in mind when ordering. I used 4 drywall anchors (see photos) and it feels incredibly solid. Perfect size for an apartment. You really can't do better for the money.

Precarious installation
This seems overpriced. The metals were kind of sharp and gave me a cut. I have the 2lb first alert fire extinguisher it was designed for, but the fit wasn't great. The ring clamps too tight, causing the bottle to tilt and stick out precariously from the U-shaped neck. I see a real risk of the fire extinguisher popping out, falling out, and smashing your toes when you try to take it out to use it. I ended up making my own fire extinguisher holder using scrap wood and velcro straps.

Does not fit all extinguishers.
Well built bracket except the collar does not fit all extinguishers. For example, it's slightly too narrow for a 2.5lb Kiddy. This can be fixed with a little bit of grinding to increase the opening with a Dremel tool. The collar is also a bit too large for a 2lb Kiddy. This can be addressed by wrapping some electrical take or similar around the collar to decrease the opening. To be fair, it does state "only compatible with First Alert extinguishers" on the box. However, I was under the (apparently false) impression that extinguishers had standard sized necks.
