I purchased this as a Christmas present for my sister who loves the normal printed Sudoku puzzles. It was fun for us to solve together while celebrating holidays and she still plays today. It also looks great as a coffee table or shelf display. It would also be a good cognitive game to practice problem/puzzle solving and fine motor skills.

Black and grey colors in playing book for pattern setup are too difficult to tell apart. Also, light green and blue colored balls are too similar. If the cardboard tray gets bumped while playing, the balls could move out of place too easily. Returned.

Very fun concept, shown in the photo is just puzzle number 1 solved. It comes with 152 puzzles and it gets harder as you progress. They say you can use any sudoku puzzle, just assign each color to an associated number.The execution could have been better though. For one, the holes that hold the balls while you solve the puzzle are not that big so you have to be VERY careful to not knock it over and ruin your progress (which I did half way through a puzzle already… such a bummer!!). I wish it were magnetic balls or a more steady board. The board is just a piece of cardstock, feels cheap for the price. Anyway please use a flat sturdy surface.Also the mint green color and light blue color balls are hard to distinguish. Should have used more bold saturated colors.I do like this concept so I’ll keep it but I don’t know if I can recommend it to friends without some improvements.

Für eine Freundin, die leidenschaftlich Sudokus löst. Sie hat sich sehr gefreut, ich bin gespannt, wie sie es nutzt. Ich habe lange überlegt, eine günstigere Version zu kaufen, dann aber doch lieber diese hochwertige gewählt. Die Verpackung war liebevoll und pfleglich.
