For those that don’t want to read a long winded review, go to the bottom for a quick synopsis.Let me start out by giving some background tot his review and why it is so good. I am a delivery driver, so I end up using my phone for the entirety of my shift. I have an iPhone 6 and the power management is horrible. I have used countless other brands of car chargers ranging from ones that have “fast charging” to “ max speed” and the list goes on. After having my phone die for the 2nd time during a shift, I decided that I needed a change. I have been a long time Anker customer and most of my gear is Anker branded. The cord I use and even the phone mount are all from Anker. I’m a bit of a freak :D. Anyway, shipping was fast and easy as expected. Packaging was what one might expect from Anker, superb. It came wrapped in that unit opaque plastic that we all love. The carbon fiber sleeve feels really nice and seems to be actually textured on there rather than a sticker or vinyl. It makes it even better because it matches the carbon fiber accents in my car. The 2 USB ports are generous and provide plenty of power when both are plugged in. I plugged in 2 phones at once and didn’t see any noticeable drop in charging speed. The real magic comes when the phone is being used. Generally, I have 2-3 apps open that are running constant GPS along with email, music, and SMS. If not for this charger, my phone would drop battery at 1% per 30 second. No joke. Cause it’s an iPhone. And they suck......anyway. This baby keeps my phone happy at 100% the entire time thatbits plugged in. And if I start at 50%, it charges like a champ in no time. I’m blown away relt because I never expected something this good. It charges as fast as a standard wal charger if not faster. Also, there are small blue LED lights that are really nice during the night time but also unobtrusive enough to not bother or distract while driving.Pros:Great packagingPhenomenal charging power2 USB ports with LEDNice carbon fiber accentSnug fit(Always amazing Anker customer support... love you guys <3)Cons:Does get a little warm after a while, but honestly I am not surprised given the paces I constantly run it through.Nothing else.

This is the second Anker Car Charger I have owned. I basically bought this one because I preferred the design on it to my current model (I had the model with the red circle; still a great charger). My dash lights are blue so I felt this one matched inside my vehicle better. I also liked the fact the USB ports are always lit up on this version. Note: This is NOT the fast charge version. There is a quick charger with the same design of this, but costs around 10 dollars more. If that is the version you want, this is NOT it.I have used many Anker products, and I find them to be high quality. Although this is not the fast charge version, this is still a very fast charger! I believe the charger is made to use the most power when charging your device, and using the iQ technology it can detect the max for your device and use it. So this can provide 2.4A thru each USB port. Personally that is quick enough for me.Overall this is another great Anker product. For the price tag I think it is definitely worth the money, and the product should last (I had my prior Anker car charger for a year, and it still is in great working condition, so I expect this one will last a long time as well). The design is also appealing, and slim. This minimizes space and does not stick out far from the aux input. If you are in the market for a car charger, you cannot go wrong with any of Anker's offerings!Edit: I tested this recently while using GPS on my phone to see if it would still charge the phone. It actually did still charge my phone albeit at a much slower rate. I was mostly happy my phone did not lose power with the GPS in use so I think this is an excellent charger. For a 25ish minute car ride I think it went up about 7% which I found good for a non quick charger.

Update 1/9/2018 -I just had to update this review because of the phenomenal customer service I received from Anker. Ariel (from AnkerDirect Customer Support) and was very apologetic for the problem I had with this charger. Without me asking for anything, Ariel made arrangements to have a new charger mailed to my home for me to try. However, this model did not seem to work well with my ZTE phone. (Qualcom Quick Charge). Perhaps it just wasn't designed for it, so I cannot blame Anker. The charger itself is very well made and I found the lighted USB ports a wonderful feature at night. I returned this unit and Anker gave me excellent customer support. (As they always do.) They suggested another charger and I will purchase this soon. If you're in the market for technology, you won't regret any Anker product. Their support is worth every penny.
