I bought this mouse because it is cheap. I use it in conjunction with a notebook computer when I am on the road because I never liked the track pad. It is wired, but it's ok. The pointer and wheels are accurate so there nothing negative to pick on. I highly recommended this mouse to anyone looking for an economical option.

As you roll the scroll wheel one way, it will often roll the opposite direction on its own one notch/line/page/screen/image before proceeding in the requested direction.

I usually opt for "branded" products but after seeing a few good reviews of Amazon Basics products I thought I would try this mouse. I have not been disappointed. I bought it to replace a very old Dell mouse that was starting to falter after a great many years.This new one is a great size and weight and a good long cable to reach around the back of my desk, to the tower PC below. Very responsive on my plain wooden desktop without needing a mouse mat.The quiet button operation is a tiny bit 'soft' for my preference - I prefer a clear "click" - but it does what it says - a quieter operation while still being responsive.. I'm sure I will get used to that difference.Under £10 for a good quality mouse - I am very happy.
