Great drawing detailed instruction in an organized , tight presentation. Highly worth the purchase ! Can’t beat the price. Would have preferred soft / not hard cover.

It gives me something fun to do while I’m stuck in the house during these Covid times.

This book shows easy to learn steps in drawing animals and also shows great pencil strokes for use with many other things. In fact, I think that the author should write a book on pencil tricks to render certain images. Worth the buy.

Love the book and used it as a guide to make several drawings of animals and my pictures were pretty darn good for s first try!

I'm feeling a bit mixed about this book. I wanted a book which offered some step by step guidance using coloured pencils, but was a little disappointed to find that there are only a handful of coloured pencil tutorials at the end. The majority of the book is more about drawing and capturing different animal anatomy and stances, with a section on more comical drawing (which will be great for my children), plus some human anatomy. This is great if you need guidance on drawing, as there is a massive amount of content in the book for that, along with different techniques using graphite pencil, however, it just isn't what I was after. The majority of the book is black and white, so although a great reference book I'm only giving it 4* as it wasn't quite what I was expecting.

Lots of good information and nice to see a hardback book. Maybe not for total beginners but all the info is there.
