Another great book by Will!
I've always found Will's writing style very easy to understand. He writes very clearly and ensures the materials are presented in a way even a novice can comprehend. He may be a multiple-time Microsoft MVP but his writing and teaching style ensure you're comfortable in learning whatever he's presenting. And no matter what level you come in at, he ensures you understand the basics fundamentals of subnetting and networking. I've enjoyed several of his books and classes and am sure I will continue to in the future. This book is no exception. The new features of Server 2022 and changes from prior versions are covered but he never assumes you have experience with the previous versions of Windows Server. He gives you a solid overview of the latest server OS provides enough in-depth detail you can implement many of the most common technologies available with 2022.

Great book easy to read and understand
Probably the easiest to read books for server 2022 I read. I read a lot of books and this one was a page Turner easy to understand language the author is a good guy... If you ever have a question he is super responsive and always willing to help. I'd give this more than 5 stars if I could

Thorough guide to Server 2022
I'm relatively new to Active Directory and server configuration so many of the topics go way over my head. I did appreciate how I was able to find the information I needed to get my network up and functional. I'm going to circle back and dig into the advanced information given in this book, once I get my Hyper-V test lab set up for experimentation.

You want to learn Windows Server 2022? Read this book by 5 time Microsoft MVP winner!
I had struggled with subnetting for a while and just couldn't grasp it. Will has shown me the path to understanding subnetting where others have failed.Other books he has written, from Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, and 2016 or any of the many different desktop study guides have proven his knowledge on Microsoft's operating systems to be far more superior to other instructors.Learning that Microsoft barely changed Windows Server 2016 only adding a few applications for better use for Azure. One can understand why there wasn't a book written for Windows Server 2019. It would have been very small, maybe the size of a Cliffs Note guide. Windows Server 2022 has been a major release over 2016 and 2019.This book's author Will Panek and publisher are providing the Information Technology community a clear and well written book for Windows Server 2022 with Azure Cloud Services: IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.Thank you Will and Sybex!

Great Author and Teacher
I really liked attending this author's live classes. He is very knowledgeable and wants to help everyone learn and succeed. He has helped me get through many certifications and I am hoping to update my older MCSA/MCSE to the 2022. I am going to use this book for just that. After going through the book, I will sign up for classes and practice exams and give it a go! I think that because this author is also an instructor, he knows how to relay the information in a way that makes it easier to understand. He has had years of experience answering questions from students attending his classes and now writes the information in an easier way to understand. I can't wait!

Clear, concise, and great study guide
I've purchased several of Will Panek's books for my SA and technicians, Windows 10 and others. This book is perfect for my team to grow and learn Win Server 2022 and maybe receive a certification along the way! Will hits all the topics and goes into detail explaining TCP/IP and network configurations, and all the things you need to understand to manage a Windows Server 2022 system.Lastly, and this will date me, but I look at Will Panek's books as study guides, similar to what I did with Sybex books when i received my MCSE in Windows Nt 4.0. Will writes in an easy to read/understand style that makes it easy to grasp new concepts.

Written Windows Server 2019, not Windows Server 2022
The author has taken a Windows Server 2019 book and replaced 2019 with 2022, and the book is, therefore, full of mistakes and errors.I am only on chapter 4, and it already talks about Windows Server 2016 being the previous version of Windows Server 2022.Worse still, it has glaring errors, such as the Hyper-V chapter having a section on NIC Teaming. You can not add a Teamed NIC as a Hyper-V Adaptor, as this is now deprecated in Windows Server 2022. You can only use Switch Embedded Teaming (SET) for NIC teaming in Hyper-v 2022. It does have a section on SET in the Hyper-v chapter but says it's an alternative to NIC Teaming, another glaring mistake where a Windows Server 2019 book has not been correctly updated. The chapter on installing Windows Server 2022 uses screenshots from the Windows Server 2019 installation, which looks like the author couldn't be bothered to update the images used in this chapter.I feel disappointed and ripped off as I paid for a book on Window Server 2022 and got a book on Windows Server 2019. At £40, the author and publisher should have done a much better job.
