A quality candle making kit for older children and adults. Makes a cute candle for gifts. Easy directions. Candles set up pretty quickly. My sister-in-law and I made up these candles after lunch one day. It was fun! The finished product is amazing! Highly recommend.

This is a nice set for beginners. Does not include a thermometer which is important for timing in adding dyes, scents, and pouring. I added dye at 180, scent at 150 and poured at 125 degrees. It worked well, no tunneling, bubbling or imperfections.

We purchased this set for our daughters 11th birthday party. It was one of the only sets that I could find that came with six of everything (minus the mixing/melting cup that you can buy extra of for $2 each at Walmart). We had it all setup in little bags for them. The girls had a blast making their own candles and they turned out great! It would be nice if the colorant came precut in 1/4 cubes instead or the larger amount that you have to cut up yourself. That would have made it easier for the girls, but definitely won't stop us from buying another set. It was the highlight of the party!

Got this kit for my daughter's 13th birthday. She made her first candle the next day and really liked it. She even shared it with her friend and little sister, showing them both how to make them. Plan to buy another one.

Girlfriend loves crafting and art projects together so I surprised her with this kit for one of our date nights and was super impressed by it! The kit has everything you need, including the essential oils for scent (though you can use your own). It includes very easy and clear instructions on how to melt and colour the wax and gave us several great smelling candles that burned well and have lasted quite a while!As a fun bonus, instead of using the tins that came with it, we bought cheap vintage glassware from the thrift store and filled those instead!Easy to do craft that was really fun and yielded great candles! This would be fun for just about any age and is perfect for the beginner or just someone causally trying to make candles without having to get too in-depth with buying all the materials separately! Highly recommend!

Bought for 13 year olds birthday party. The three participants lived making the candles. Easy enough to do for them without major adult supervision. Enough ingredients for everyone to make the six lovely candles. Would recommend and buy again.

What a brilliant gift. My daughter and I spent all afternoon making 6 candles, she is 6 years old and absolutely loved it, as did I.The instructions are easy to follow, but it is so much fun doing it, very therapeutic!Would definitely buy for others as a gift and would buy again, with different scents to try out.
