WOW!
I orginally purchased an EPSON ET-7750. I had to return it in the second month to be replaced. After another 10 months it went out again. This time I had had enough and just replaced it with this. OMG, I am kicking myself for not getting this in the first place. Super crisp, vibrant photos, Stickers and more. Images look great on paper and vinyl. You get two drivers to use instead of one, and the canon print studio pro is amzing. I use print studio pro with adobe and corel products, as well as Canon Photo Professional 4. Cant say enough good about this.

Good Prints But Uses Lots of Ink
How I wish Canon had continued with the i9900! This Pixma Pro is huge, heavy and temperamental. It is not very user friendly. My i9900 you could feed paper into as needed; this one won't operate if the paper feed lid is up. Then it goes through this tedious cleaning process, spitting out the sheet of paper! This matters to me, because I like to do two-sided printed, flipping the paper over quickly and feed it in, which with the i9900 wouldn't stop the whole process. It takes FOREVER to warm up! As with many of the new printers, it has the electronic ink sensors and will refuse to operate once the sensor decides 'low ink.' As many know, its a racket to force more ink purchases. My old Canons one could just tell it to print- over-riding what the printer 'thought', and gee, surprising how many more prints I could get on a supposedly empty cartridge! With those sensors, however, I don't think you can refill the cartridge once that light goes on (I could be wrong though). It goes through ink cartridges very quickly. I have printed less than 100 photographic sheets and had to replace multiple cartridges. This is not a new model, and I had read many reviews of it before purchasing, so not sure why there are no reviews listed now. The only reason I bought it was that it WILL work with an older MAC/operating system (Leopard 10.5.4). It does put out beautiful prints. I could never get it to do full-bleed prints, or to find the menu that supposedly lets you print proofs/lower resolution prints, or just black & white. I never installed the tray for making CD labels so I can't comment on whether that works well or not. I like that it actually comes with software (so I didn't have to put the old MAC online). The printer 'didn't like' me not loading the full package though. I have PhotoShop and didn't want the printer deciding how to alter my files!

Printer was dead on arrival
The printer I ordered was dead on arrival. It wouldn't power up. When I contacted the seller about an exchange his response was to contact Canon. Fortunately for me, Canon was willing to exchange the printer (they didn't have to since I bought it on Amazon).Given this seller's lack of care or customer service, I won't purchase from them again.

Great printer but the ink is expensive
I have owned this printer for years and it has stood the test of time. The print quality is good to great. Using the authentic ink makes for better prints whereas the cheaper inks do produce a print but the coloring isn't as accurate and the print quality isn't as crisp. This isn't a knock on the printer. The printer does take a while to start up after a long sleep of not being used. You can check your ink levels on your laptop/pc while printing. There aren't bunches of buttons on the printer and it doesn't have a small touchscreen to navigate. You control the majority of the operations on your pc. Pros: good quality prints, good software to get creative and a small learning curve. Cons: Heavy, ink is expensive, take time to get started after not being used and from the recent pricing...it's expensive.

Can't handle 4 x 6
This printer jammed 4x6 photo paper 100 of times. When I searched on the web, it seems it is known issue. It was suggested to run the Canon Roller Clean Utility. Some people reported it helped. I run twice. It's still jamming on my papers.I had to try 100s of times since I need to print passport photos. Otherwise, I would've just smash the printer. For people who's planning to use 4x6 on this printer, look for something else.

Great Customer Service
My partner actually bought this for me as a birthday present and when I first set it up, the printer was missing the printer head piece. Contacted the supplier and they immediately sent me a new one. It works fantastically, ink comes with it, prints fantastic quality and I love using it. All of my art prints come out looking fantastic!
