Simple to use
Although the instructions may seem complicated, it's simple to use. I started using it for a few minutes and worked my way up to more minutes until I saw light red. The red burn will appear the next day if used for too many minutes.

It stopped working 3 weeks after purchase, am overseas now, will call Amazon.
Three weeks after I bought the lamp, it working. It happened while I was traveling overseas. I am planning to call Amazon customer service when I get back home on December 8, and either replace it with another one or return.

I have not used this on my daughter consistently as I should, but we did for when we first got it with not results. I am giving this item 4 stars, because I think I need to give it more time to work. I will track the progress on a monthly basis. Here to progress!
