Golden Hills Mercantile Bacon Grease Container with mesh strainer - rustic blue enamelware mid-century modern farmhouse design

This bacon grease container is cute, and functional.It will hold quite a bit of grease, although I'm not apt to fill it up anytime soon.But it's cute on the stove, and the size is just right to not take up much room. In the photo it's next to a 1 lb can of coffee, for reference.The strainer basket is almost a fine mesh, and does a good job straining the grease.The lid fits well - unless you leave the strainer basket in place, in which case the lid won't sit flush, as I tried to show in my photos.Ideally the basket could be stored in place in the container so that the lid would sit flush on it, but other than that, there's nothing not to like, imo.

Smaller than expected but it is functional and good quality

My grandma and my granny always saved bacon grease I was always terrified about putting it in glass jars thinking it would explode from the temp difference. So when I saw this I nabbed it immediately. This little bacon grease container is super easy to use, strains out the unwanted bacon pieces and bonus look adorable on the counter.

This is tin is adorable. The grease strainer is very nice it keeps my bacon grease clean with no food particles flowing into the grease.

The perfect bacon grease holder for our countertop. Not too big, not too small. Love the strainer that fits in the top and easily removes for cleaning.

I returned cause it was to small

I love the look of it and it is easy to clean and does the job. Don't drop it because it chips. (but then it looks like the old cups and coffee pots from my childhood)
