I purchased this for myself to use in the kitchen but it's certainly earned its keep! I use it often in the kitchen for various things. My oldest child uses it to time herself for her upcoming math tests (which are timed). They also use it to time themselves when brushing their teeth. They are easily able to use it themselves and the timer is easy to read!

All positives. Loud alarm that doesn't stop for a full minute. Strong magnet sticks to the range hood. Simple time set.

Nice timer use it almost everyday! I bought one from another seller and it broke after a week. Replaced it with this one, works very well.

This is a very sleek and modern looking timer. I use it for work, and always have an easy time using it. Would buy again if I need to. It has lasted six months so far.

I like the big numbers & the magnet is strong. The dial to find your time is super touchy & the batteries run down quickly.

I use this timer as a count down as I do morning exercises. I like that I can tap to stop the timer as I move to a different exercise video. It has large numbers that are easy to read.

As you've no doubt read in other reviews, this timer is adequately functional. The dial is simple to operate, and it feels reasonably well constructed.⦾⦾ The Major Issue ⦾⦾My one major issue is that when you are in the middle of a timed session, there is no way to reset to your 'set' starting time with a quick button press. You can only pause or use the dial to get back to your original timer time.For example, let's say we choose a 1:00 timer. It counts down to 35 seconds, and I have to pause for some interruption. Instead of double tapping to restart back at `1:00... I have no choice but to scroll back to 1 minute... or let the counterNow, this is a non-issue if the timer runs its full course. But I mention this 'UI' decision because it may affect your workouts. You may not want to have to adjust things if a set doesn't get completed instantly.•• Conclusion ••If the price is right, this cheap timer can get the job done. But I'd recommend looking elsewhere if the reset issue bothers you. Timers are a dime a dozen, and the engineers need to take another look at this one.Personally, I use it on the fridge in the kitchen AND for workouts because it is versatile. I just work around the hitch by letting it runs its full course and then single tapping. But I got this item for free, so I'm more likely to let things like that slide.

It is very convenient to use. Turn the outer ring clockwise to increase the time, and turn it counterclockwise to decrease the time. And turn it fast to quickly set the time in units of one minute, and turn it slowly to set the time precisely in units of five seconds. The maximum time that can be set is 99 minutes and 55 seconds, which is 1 hour and 40 minutes. There are 2 brightness options and 3 volume options on the back of the timer. There are two magnets on the back of the timer, but the area is relatively small. So the suction is not very strong when it is on the refrigerator door, but it will not fall off. It is firmer when it is sucked on a horizontal or inclined surface. It would be better if this timer had more color options.

The rear of the timer has a button to adjust alarm volume (low/medium/high settings), as well as a brightness button (regular and eco mode). Once countdown is complete, timer will shut off automatically after five seconds of inactivity, or if you pause the timer for more than 5 seconds. Timer also has 3 magnets on the back, useful for sticking to the fridge or other metal object. This thing looks and works great!Not only can you choose any countdown duration from 99 minutes to 1 (5 second intervals), this also doubles as "stopwatch". That is, it can count up from 0 to 99 minutes in 1 second intervals.Twist the dial clockwise to increase timer, counter-clockwise to decrease timer. Tapping timer pauses count-down/stopwatch, a second tap resumes. Oh, I should mention that if you quickly twist the timer in either direction (just over half-way) it will scroll through minutes much faster. If you find yourself trying to adjust the seconds after using this option, simply pause for a few seconds, then slowly twist and you'll be back at the seconds setting as per usual.To enter stopwatch mode, zero-out timer and tap it.
