Rotating Clamp System for Hapstone Knife Sharpener

Cuts the sharpening time down easily by half and doubles the accuracy. I didn't realize when I purchased the hapstone sharpening jig that it could get any better. It does. It so does.Speaking of the jig.. I purchased one over a year ago. I over tightened the nut and destroyed the threads recently.. They sent me a replacement fast and free of charge. I can't recommend enough.

The quality of the build with this tool is outstanding. I actually didn't use it for the Hapstone sharpener, but instead for a custom knife sharpening jig I built for the DMT Diamond Dual sided stones. The base of this comes apart and luckily there were slots big enough to use wood screws to anchor it to my wood jig. EXTREMELY happy with this setup.-bryan

I have this mounted on my Hapstone Pro. I never take it off. I wish it would have come with my unit. One improvement (and I think it has been done with later versions) is to have a third holding clamp located at the center for short blade knives.

Will use it soon. Have not had a chance to use it.
