This light works great. I hope it keeps working. From other reviews I have read, they say is dies in a few weeks. Mine works great. I hope it continues to do so. I will update the review if something changes.

(Updated 8-9-23. The seller reached out to me to offer a refund or replacement without me asking for it. Based on their customer service, I have upgrade my rating. Thank you for acknowledging this issue. Hopefully, they will work on their design of this light. )I have three and love them but like a lot of 1 star reviews, one stopped working suddenly after 4 months. I hate throwing things away and refuse to believe that the rechargeable batteries are that faulty to stop working after only 4 months. So, I opened one up and lo and behold outside of the casing, it worked perfectly fine. I'm no electrical genius but something was causing a short. I placed it back in its casing and slowly added the screws and connections. First issue was contact with the wires and the magnet. I placed gaffers tape (I guess you could use electrical tape as well) on the magnet on the inside. Then I reset the screws holding the LEDs in place and the screw closest to the touch switch sensor (first photo) when screwed all the way in caused a short and it would stop working. I loosened it slightly and the LEDs worked fine. I couldn't even get the third screw back in but it was not necessary. Reinstalled the led cover and end plates and now it's working fine. Bottom line, there's design flaws and more insulation between the screws, wires, and magnet is needed to keep the unit from shorting out (electricians correct my verbiage please). Don't throw it away. You can't get your money back but you can fix it with a little patience. That being said. If not for the design flaws, I would give it 5 stars. As it is, you get what you pay for and they can be salvaged with a little effort. NOTE: Be careful when removing them from the magnetic mount. Do it gently to avoid jostling the wires and screws that may cause this shorting issue.

I love how easy it is to use and adjust the light settings - makes my piano music much more visible in the evening when light is low. The charging cable works seamlessly and then tucks out of sight again, which is perfect! However, the attachment bracket is slightly disappointing, it feels loose even with using either molly brackets or being stud mounted, in order to slide into place over the included screws the angle makes tightening it more a challenge and there needs to be enough space to slide the bracket into position that it's slightly loose when installed (or will scrape the paint if it's too tight). If you don't remove the magnetic mounted light much it will stay in place, but I worry that over time it may need to be remounted differently.

I can’t speak to longevity, but this appears to be a decent light for the price. I like the more modern design than many of the other picture lights on the market. The adjustable temperatures of white and brightness are nice as is the option to turn on the light on the light itself in addition to the remote.

Update: I tried several other chargers and finally got one that will charge up the light, working now.Won't charge or power on. Only lit up for a couple of hours.

The media could not be loaded.  First, the good...This light is inexpensive, but doesn't look that way after it's installed. It's very simple to install, works as advertised, the magnet holds the light very secure against the bracket, and I personally like this light. It absolutely accomplished my goal of wanting a picture light to show off my art, despite the issues I'll explain below.The Bad...If you're using the supplied charging cable, it will take a long time to charge fully. I plugged the light in around 5pm and it wasn't finished by the time I went to bed at midnight! When I charged it the second time, it took well over 7 hours.It doesn't hold a charge very long. The first time I used this I had to recharge the light after having it on a total of about 7 hours. As stated above, it took more than 7 to recharge again.There is no way to tell how much of a charge you have. The light will simply shut off and refuse to turn on when it's time to charge again.They do not supply an outlet plug for the usb charger. While I have a few in my house, it would be a nice touch to not have to use another device's plug to speed up the charging process.The on/off switch is extremely sensitive. If you come remotely close to it, the light will cycle the power.Over all, this light would be phenomenal if it held a charge longer and it charged quicker. But, it does get the job right and for the price, I was expecting there to be a few issues.Good luck!

I was searching for a light for my keyboard and found this wall mounted one. I didn’t read the entire thing and just bought it because it looked like what I wanted. When it arrived I found it was magnetic/detachable and the light can turn on with touching the side. Really cool and useful also you have to charge it.

It does look plastic up close. Easy to put up and I like that it can change colors and have a timer. But! The biggest draw back is the charge doesn’t last long at all. It lasted a day maybe two before I had to recharge it. That’s just not feasible. I will invest in something different in the future,

Great lights, ideal to use above a poster in a frame. Not set up the second light yet. Good brightness, different settings and handy to use the remote as lights up for both lights. Quick charging. Very happy, recommended.
